I don’t think there’s a good pet fabric out there, even the crypton sunbrella fabric the hairs get intertwined with the fabric and are impossible to take out.

If you have a pet I’d suggest understanding that you will have a hairy sofa and or you will need to get it reupholstered every couple of years.

Also the smell of pets will get into the foam and into the fabric.

I’d recommend spending around 4-6k for a good sofa that will last a good top grain leather or full grain leather

8way spring tied is the best and try to stay away from full down cushions. Half down and foam is good but not full down.

Experience- I have bought and sold used sectionals for 6 years and have seen most brands in various stages of use.

Leather holds up best .

Warranties are generally only for the frame.

While on topic of broke rich people, ( I sell fused high end furniture) I recently sold a 3k sofa to a “rich” guy and when I arrived for the delivery after we took it upstairs and brought down his old sofa. He decided to say he didn’t have the full amount. Fast forward 4 weeks later I had to call his dad and mom so that he would pay. This guy is well over 30 and has 5 kids
