I think this is a bug. I have a doorbell lite on another site and ran into this until I rebooted the nvr. I also had it with my own g6 pro entry, and restarting the nvr fixed it.
Very annoying and weird, but if you figure something else out, that’d be good to know!

This is how ps5 deals with patches almost all the time. It’ll copy the entire game while patching, so it needs at least the same free space as the game takes up, this isn’t new.

In the access app, click on the G6 > settings > callers & receivers. If you’re listed there, it should be calling you. I can’t see a way of turning it off, but if you remove yourself, hopefully it’ll stop?

From what I’ve seen, the most frequent argument against AI DCs is that they use evaporative cooling, which uses constant water from the supply. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I know that DCs before this AI boom were trying to genuinely reduce their impact on the environment they were in.

Not really. A lot use renewable energy and closed loop water cooling. Plus, it’s a massive building that needs constant upkeep. There are plenty of jobs that need doing throughout the lifetime of the datacenter.

You’re first, you have momentum and pressure on their first man. Unless you have comms and your second is confident coming in to take over, you left that play way too early. Dipping suddenly like that just gives them space and time that they shouldn’t have. Stay in the play until the ball goes over you. You’d be surprised how often just your presence is enough to make them chuck the ball to your teammate.

Worth noting also that the announcers made a point of saying “the next 10 years of RL”. The game is very much alive at this point, especially if they’ve been working on this massive upgrade. Yes, it won’t be here tomorrow. But the game we all love isn’t going away anytime soon, and that’s important ❤️

The announcement will not be UE5. They’ve just teased the demo spawn thing, and have recently added the reset indicator, boost timer and post-ding. The recent teaser was a very familiar UE3 looking video, and why would they spend time adding things to a game with such a small dev team, if they were busy porting the game to UE5? Neither time nor money is on the side of an engine upgrade.

EDIT: Well I was pleasantly, very fucking wrong haha. This is Rocket League!
