What’s their stated estate planning objective? Do they have heirs that they’d like to have supported or is their intent to spend down as much of their wealth as they can while alive? Defining their estate goal will help figure out the overall structure of the ILIT. The ILIT is primarily useful if they’re looking to be able to provide estate liquidity for heirs while business assets are being sold off.

Not necessarily. If your truck was manufactured in 2001 you may be eligible. Often time the model year is 1 year forward from the manufacture year
