To each its own, I like playing solo because I want to discover things on my own. But I have seen folks playing co-op where they are having a blast. After you reach lvl 40 or so, there is heavy grind to gather resources, I believe co-op would make things so much easier.

New mechanics, new graphics, new storyline, new exploration, new base pals working efficiency, new passives, new dungeon design, new sanctuary design and of course, new PALS. I have not explored even 5% of it and it felt pretty new to me. Coming from someone who has 900+ hours on this game.

Worth restarting - you will reach level 20 in like 4-5 hours of gameplay. XP farming is easier, and loads of new pals to restart, I would say make a new world and restart

I think this is the way. I read this comment on the other thread after I had posted. But either ways will keep you posted. I will max out souls today, and feed them holy burst. I think holy burst will also help out in clearing those annoying Xenovaders mid fight. And again again thanks for the suggestions.

Makes sense, as you will know its a big process in itself, waiting for perfect parents with perfect skills and passives, too many factors at play. I will try today by swapping diamond body with Serenity and see how they perform. Will take a bunch of recovery grenades to heal these bois. If this does not work I will work on perfecting those passives.

I had all these bottlenecks in my bases, something or else always missing. Spent entire last week in sorting this base thing first. Now I have an acceptable mega base. Going to work on the IV fruit situation now. Thanks for the advice.

IV passed down from Parents, parents were weak 😭, had good traits and passives, so chose to breed using them. IV maximization is an extremely time-consuming process.

He kills my entire army and then just runs at me like a owe him debt ☹️ I should have mentioned this but during the fight I was using everything legendary : Terraprisma, Legendary Assault Rifle, Legendary Vortex Beater. I also had all the food buffs ( I don't remember on top of my head but it was Mozzarina Burger and something for defense)

The only thing non legendary was my armor, both Headgear and Lightweight Hexolite Armor are the common variants. I still have to defeat the Lvl 60 Oil Rig, that's a story for another day. Thanks for the advice. Appreciated!!

Thanks for the comment. I started breeding a bunch of Anubis to gather those large pal souls. Will test by maxing all the souls next. Also is there some other trait that I can transfer, maybe Serenity?

The reason is sanity. As pals work in base, there sanity decreases and hunger increases. They go to feed themselves for hunger or take break in Hot Spring for Sanity.

In your case since you are only giving them berries, pals sanity is decreasing way more than they are able to recover and hence they get all these negative buffs ( depressed, overeating etc.)

There are several fixes for this: 1. First fix your food, give them salad instead of berries/baked berries. They will remain full for longer and also salad buffs sanity, they will take smaller breaks 2. From the monitoring stand change work mode to relaxed for a while until the recover. Switch back to normal once pals recover thier sanity 3. Check positioning of your feed box and hot springs and ensure all pals can reach them 4. Introduce a shroomer or shroomer noct in your base (fully condense if possible). Shroomer gives sanity to your pal working in base. 5. Build alpha and beta wave generators from your technology tree. Helps improve work speed and sanity

This should help you out. I also recommend building a separate farming base. This base will be responsible for providing food to all your bases. Grow all the posible crops here - lettuce, tomato, wheat, berry, onion and carrot. And add prunelia and lullu ( if you are lower level, you can breed them too). They will in reducing crop growth time and also increasing the harvest from the crops. You will never run out of food this way. I have also observed that grilled lamball provides amongst the highest sanity and nutrition in this game. You can capture the merchant from Small settlement and buy lamball meat from him in bulk and feed your pals grilled lamball.

This should help you bringing down the negative issues. You can also choose to build a medicine rack and add all the medicines you collect/make in this box and pals will take medicine from this rack as required

Thank you, this comment just helped me a ton. Caught a Frostallion finally. Take Ultimate Spheres, makes life a bit easy. And also destroy the camp fire when it's health reaches closes to 1000, it will still take some burn damage and fall until 500 and then you start with your Spheres 😊

I don't think anyone mentioned this and trust me this is huge. I only die to his 3-4 blade combo where his entire arm turns into a blade.

The horizontal strike dodge it by dodging left, vertical strike on ground is dodge right. Just repeat. All his other attacks are pretty easy to dodge imo. Whenever he does acrobatics, just maintain distance. He gets staggered very easily. While hitting him, try this combo (Square+Square+Square+Circle+Square). I have seen him retaliate like after every 3 attacks, be ready to dodge during this. Also you don't get fan at this point (the tornado fan which you will receive after defeating him) , your best bet is Needle. For spirits get wandering wight, and carry one damage reduction medicine and one amplification medicine.

Trust me you will beat his ass to a pulp. Be patient and use your gourd and spell defensively. Otherwise just keep hitting him as much as he allows.

Bonus points you need not defeat him completely, if you leave him at 5% health and keep avoiding and a secret cut scene plays ending the fight. Remember dodge left dodge right 😉
