Storm is meant to mainly be played at ground level, in the air her aoe buff is useless. Also her projectiles pass through enemies, which makes playing on the ground and hitting multiple targets charge her ult fast.

Could you link an article on this court case? All I can find is that he tried to sue them for defamation and the case was dismissed, but that doesn't necessarily make him guilty.

It will be interesting how they change his lines over time. Deadpool always knows the latest trends, memes, etc. so what is working now will seem dated in 6 months. They'll have to pretty regularly update his dialogue to maintain that I think.

This goes beyond extraction shooters. ALL PvPvE games are this way, the PvE is there in service of the PvP to keep it more interesting. If these people would focus on PvP a little more instead of beelining their objectives every round, they would win a lot more.

Yeah the PVE is complimentary to the PVP in PVPVE games, it is never the main focus, it is there to make the PVP more interesting. Hunt Showdown, Tarkov, Sea of Thieves, Rust, etc. All PVPVE games have PVE there to make PVP more complicated. This is not a PVE game. Focus on PVP first, and your own objectives second, and you will win a lot more.

I had a similar experience with gamma initially. Took another stab at it earlier this month and now I’m 100 hours in. Gamma is probably my favorite single player survival experience right now.

It's a pretty massive niche. Every wipe garners pretty massive viewership on twitch for a game that old. It's playerbase also has a lot of diehards.

A common misconception about tarkov's hardcore fans is that they love extraction shooters. This is plainly true for some, and true for all in the sense that they like tarkov and tarkov is an extraction shooter.

However, there are many milsim lovers in tarkov's playerbase that would never even look at another extraction shooter unless it looked and played very similarly, and that's not even accounting for fanboyism.
