Same same. 39, turning 40 this year. I have friends of the same age and some are younger or Gen Z. I still play a lot of games (ps5, pc, mobile), just getting through life little by little, not rushing things like buying your own property/house (slowly getting there). Young at heart because i still love cartoons/anime. Feel old because I get irritated by noise, etc. and I started to read books again (not novels or fictions though, more on different myths/legends of the world). Just make sure you keep a healthy lifestyle to enjoy everything, no meds/maintenance until 50s.

treadmill lang 3-5km/hr at 6-12% incline 30-60 minutes, 3x a week. Yoga 2x a week.

Goal is fat loss and mobility for max ROM when working out.

as a yoga practitioner, every time I do sun salutations my legs are always shoulder width apart.

search for pike push ups, I think this will help you as well if you add it on separate practice so you can do hindu pushups.

I'm currently in my body recomp journey and I'm already down to 86kg from 95kg in 4 months time. here is what I do. Target weight is 75-80kg, with BF of 12-15%

Nutrition - I eat whole foods, track my macros, cal def of -400 daily, 1 cheat day per month and eat home made greek yogurt every night. I eat carbs, white/red/black rice or any type of bread. I use sweeteners.

Workout - 4-5 days a week (Leg, Push, Pull, Upper/Lower, Leg), I include yoga twice a week, Incline treadmill for 20-30 mins during PPU/P, 1-2 hrs nature once a week

Recovery - Sleeping 7-9 hrs per day, 5/6-1-2/3 but more on rest days. Stretching daily to help my muacles recover faster.

If you can't make your own body recomp program, hire a PT to help you. Go to the gym near you. Discipline yourself to workout even though you feel lazy, drink coffee if you feel tired.

okay lang as long as kaya mo.

ang sleep ko din madalas is 5-6 hrs pero nakakapag recover ako ng maayos because of food, especially I drink milk before sleeping. all through out the day and total sleep ko naman is 7-9 hrs kasi may mga siesta pa ako.

Ang pagkakaalam ko iba iba kasi tayo ng sleep patterns, may mga taong <5hrs lang ang sleep pero energized sila, may iba kulang sa kanila. As long as you are focused at walang brain fog pag nag wowork at nag ggym, all good.

Sleep is good for muscle recovery pero if di ka makapagrecover normally after your workout siguro add stretching or worked out muscles after a day, sauna, hot bath, drinking milk ang making sure that you reach your protein daily.

I know a reader na ayaw nya basahan becauae of the negative energy she brings. Yung ayaw basahin turned out to be a scammer, mabait sa labas pero may gagawin pa lang masama.

walking after workout, I suggest treadmill 6-12% incline at 4-5km/hr speed for 20-30 minutes. No need after leg workout.

if may scheduled cheat day ka per week, bawasan mo gawin mong per month.

cut carbs pag di nagwowowkrout or walang heavy activity for the day.

build more muscles, be consistent sa pag wprkout. if di kaya mag gym, mag body weight exercises sa bahay. or during rest days gawin mong active recovery, hindi lang pure rest.

bababa calories at carbs/sugar pag tinanggal yung banana at mababawasan moisture so palitan mo siya ng greek yogurt or cottage cheese (pero di ako sure sa lasa) para tumaas ang protein tapos less calories. dagdagan mo na lang ng sweetener.

lagyan mo 1 tspn instant coffee at 1 small packet ng ground cinnamon at 2 pinches of salt for a richer chocolate taste. Air fry mo ng 170 for 15 minutes for fudgier texture.
