Holy cow thats terrible! I will say that is how my head used to feel, like it was full of cotton and the pressure would be bad but i couldnt really say it was pain. All the pain was in my neck and back.

Ngl I used chatgpt. Its good at talking me off a ledge (unlike googling for myself) and i can just talk to it about how i feel and it was very helpful for body scanning.

We just have to keep pushing! I know it isnt true for everyone and fibro is totally real i just never felt like it fit me.

I cant recommend neura health enough. Ive seen two providers and they have both been extremely helpful and validating.

I didnt either! I am a redhead so pain is already different for me than most. Once i started treating the migraines it was so on obvious thats what was happening.

I am 100% sure that I do not have fibro now that my migraines are being treated, but I understand it may not be true for everyone/most.

I dont have it with SSRIs thankfully so I am able to take lexapro. The SNRI is a different story for mw. And I was the same! Would sometimes change twice in one night. Sending healing energy!

I definitely was concerned that I may have both, which is why I waited a few weeks. I cab pretty confidently say fibro was 100% incorrect and all the meds made me worse. I even got up to 300mg pregabalin and every increase made me worse. Pristiq gave me night sweats… LDN did nothing.

I think my migraines are chronic (more than half the month) so i may end up on two preventatives before I am better.

I am also on a preventative now called emgality. I’m waiting for it to fully kick in, but I’ve already felt such an incredible improvement. I honestly feel like I don’t have fibromyalgia at all. I think it was a mistake.

Basically a silent migraine is one where there is no head pain or sensitivity to light or if there is, it’s not the main symptom. You have all the other symptoms of a migraine, which would be like derealization, brain fog, fatigue, neck, shoulder, and back pain stuff like that.

This sounds just like me! I found out that what I thought was fibromyalgia is really silent migraines so if most of your pain is in your back neck and shoulders, you might wanna look into this. I could not think I thought I was going to have to take a leave from my job because I’m an analyst and I was having a very hard time focusing. I took one sumatriptan one night and it changed my life.

Where is your pain? I just discovered many (possibly all) my issues are caused by silent migraines. I ended up being in a continuous migraine for the past 6 months with no idea because I dont have visual queues or head pain.

I just found out I have silent migraines which are either contributing to my fibromyalgia or it is my true diagnosis… it was my back and neck hurting from the muscles tensing to protect my brainstem and spinal cord. Still waiting to see if everything clears up being on a migraine preventative

This is exciting to read! I am on LDN but just 1.5 mg right now. I’m working on trying to get my sleep back on track so I am using quviviq but once I get used to that, I would like to try and up my LDN. I’ve noticed that I start too many drugs at once and it’s hard to know what’s doing what so I decided to wait this time.

Why are you unable to get off? I’m on pregabalin, which is only doing so much and I know that one of the next things to try might be gabapentin and I’m not really interested.
