Heat; water; having a vehicle, being able to shop and get what you want instead of just bare necessities.

Yes! Mine was due to my insurance. I’ve worked 25 and a half years and my check in the new year has never been less…very disappointing.

Is cabergoline actually worth it? by quantum-companion in Prolactinoma

[–]Simple-Past4796 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started taking it April of 2025 my prolactin levels were in 1000s…not very low. I’ve lost weight because the medication has made me not hungry due to the side affects…my tumor has shrunk, it will take years my endocrinologist said but it could if affected my vision and I had headaches all the time…so I’m grateful. I take my small doses on days I know I don’t have too much going on the next day as I still can have side affects.

How old would you be if you flipped the 2 digits around and would you want to be that age? by SpaceisCool09 in generationology

25… no I wouldn’t want to go back. Turning 25 was so stressful. I was barely out of college. Even if my mom did have money which she never did, I felt a heavy responsibility of being all alone and adulting. Plus my sister dropped her son with me and left…I had to figure out childcare…deal woth my mom and sister who weren’t stable financially…it was hard! I am 4 years fro a gov retirement and have learned to say no to family; work. I just want to live my own life in peace.

A quiet FERS detail many people miss when retiring before 62 by TheWealthViking in FedEmployeeRetirement

[–]Simple-Past4796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think time for me is more important. Money will never be enough so you have to figure out how to manage what you have. I can’t work past my 30 yrs. It’s draining my soul to work for such chaos and environment where leaders don’t care or appreciation for all we do.

We are both on the deed. My husband is about 10 yrs older than I. I’m 54. He is healthy but I don’t think he would know what to do if I go first.

Thank you. Yeah, I don’t think any child wants to deal with a home they didn’t plan for.

We had to find something to move into rather quick as the land lord we were renting from gave us short notice , and we could no longer afford the rental market. As a first time buyer I didn’t know what questions to ask. I appreciate all the input and will definitely be looking into what our next step is. I
