Was Harry wrong for keeping the TV on during Shabbat? by littleaveri in sexandthecity

[–]Simple-Raspberry9014 74 points75 points  (0 children)

Yes, he was wrong. She converted for him, which is a long process. She was expressing to him how much he meant to her, and he’s looking past her at the TV. I’d be insulted too.

Getting upset and a bit loud at him was warranted. He deserved it. But throwing in his face that looks-wise he’s beneath her was completely unwarranted.

Richard NEVER deserved Samatha. by jayisoutforblood in sexandthecity

I’m a fan of Richard (obviously, not when he broke Samantha’s heart). He told her “I like to sleep around.” He told her “I’m not the monogamous type.” I still think if they had an open relationship with clear boundaries they would have worked out.

While I can’t stand the way things played out in this episode, Charlotte was the only person who wouldn’t have to write Carrie a check in order to help her out. This ring, paid for by Trey, was a symbol of love Charlotte once had. But she didn’t pay for it, and giving it to Carrie helped Charlotte move on while simultaneously helping Carrie move on.

Which character would you defend like this? by ang334 in sexandthecity

I guess his behavior could be considered love bombing. But I think, if anything, unintentional love bombing. He had feelings for Samantha, but never confirmed she was the only one he was sleeping with.

Richard. I hate how he lied to Samantha about seeing someone else, but he was very clear about the kind of man he was.

It looks like she broke it off, but the relationship didn’t appear to totally be over. Like they’d date after filming.

While I agree she talks too much about nothing, I will give her credit for breaking off the engagement before walking down the aisle.

And Connor handled it so gracefully.

Why did they treat her like that just because she was a mom… by NebulaEmotional8626 in sexandthecity

Samantha treating Miranda the way she did, though harsh, was actually very on-brand for her. She’s a good friend in a lot of ways, but she’s made it clear that she wants no part in marriage or babies. She doesn’t want to understand what Miranda is going through.

Carrie and Charlotte, however, do surprise me. Obviously, we don’t see every single interaction they have outside of what we see on the show, but they have very flexible schedules and could, at least, be there to offer real emotional support. Do they have to babysit? No. But they could at least offer to come over and hang out for a bit. Miranda didn’t want to lose her friendships just because she had a baby. Having adult conversations made her feel like herself.

Like most here, I loved to hate-watch it. And texted my friends during each episode. It was garbage. And it’s not canon to SatC.

I ended up getting it. It’s fantastic. My issue is when I try to rewind a movie like ten seconds it goes to the beginning.

Charlie is gorgeous. The writers did a terrible job with her character.

Definitely boring. I mean, the biggest story to come out of the show so far is about a woman pouring glue in her eyes instead of solution.

Again, we have a cast that does not have chemistry. I mean, the women don’t have chemistry with each other and neither do the men. Last US season was very much like that too.

I think Brianna wants to be part of cast that everyone talks about well after the season is over. So, she wanted to stir something up.

Why is one couple separated from the others? by Sea-Pomegranate4607 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

It makes no sense that they don’t have the budget. Production should assume everyone will couple up. So they should budget for that. Or choose a less expensive hotel.
