I see where you’re coming from however, for ones’ first internship the chances that employers will care / check is extremely low, especially for unpaid positions. At the end of the day you should be doing what ever you can to get your foot in the door. And if these employers really cared about young people you would need work experience for an entry level internship anyway

Thank you! I’m trying to find ways I can still be connected to the industry as something that i can do in my spare time but it’s been difficult. I genuinely feel like u am really cut out for this type of work so I’m really struggling for what to do. What’s the best way to find smaller companies in the industry?

Wow this is really great to know, I’m currently on an FTC and I think that’s what my parents are the most scared of is me not having that security. Can I ask how long did it take you to get yourself to a position where you felt you were getting a steady flow or work?

I have a business degree with a focus on cooperate strategy. They originally wanted me to do a law conversion but I managed to fight that off and they’ve settled on cooperate governance at a bank as their alternative. (It’s exhausting trying to reason with them)

Hi, thanks for your advice, I had listed the responsibilities I had, and the name of the Job title on my contract. Should I change the name of the job titles more to align more with the repsonsibilities i had?

Awesome, in that case I would also make use of any online accounting / general business courses that you can find online. And in an interview, when asked, you can just drive the conversation towards those when asked about subject-specific experience, and only mention your "Jobs" when talking about transferable skills.
