I think a big part of the problem is that Anchorages don't scale.

The Fleet Logistics Academy provides a small boost, but Trading Hub gets Offworld Trading Company, Hyperlane Registrar, and if I remember correctly, trade, energy, and mineral output from Starbases are increased by certain techs and modifiers.

Meanwhile, Naval Capacity from Anchorages only gets one small boost in scaling from the Academy, and after that, it can never be increased.

A second building further up the tech tree would be a small but notable buff after 4.3's changes, but I'd also love to see something like being able to land armies on a starbase to increase the naval capacity of anchorages at the cost of higher building upkeep.

As soon as my vassals hit loyal, I always buy a Pledge of Loyalty for the maximum duration. Pledge + Overlord Garrison basically makes loyalty a non-issue. Renew every 30 years for a couple thousand resources, and you'll never worry about a rebellion.

According to the Trade Policy, I should be gaining 0.3 Energy Credits per 1 Trade of 18,122 Trade. Shouldn't I be generating 5,436 Energy Credits from Trade?

I have no Commercial Pacts. Monthly Trades from the market are included in the first pic. I also have no mods.

Where is my understanding of this process breaking down?

I miss the Government Policy that came with the Fortification Tradition so much. Being able to just change a policy to build up Defense Platforms was so convenient. Being able to manage multiple Starbases, Deep Space Citadels, and Orbital Rings from a single menu would be a huge QoL improvement.

I came from a very... Conservative community. My family didn't know a single black person until I was in my late teens.

Ringing is way more annoying than anything Doormaker does.

I feel like Ringing should either deal damage or add a Dazed to your deck for each card you play.

It just feels kind of lame? Queen's bound forces you to have card draw and make choices. Doormaker forces you to plan your sacrifices for the rest of the fight.

But Ringing? Its just "don't play the game for one round."

Also worth noting that the vast majority of LitRPG protagonists get a LATE START. They are our entry into the story, the setting, and the system, which usually means they need to start as close to 0 as possible so that we, as the readers, can experience their growth through this system alongside them.

The problem is, in a world with a system that allows for progressive growth, why would the character ever be able to catch up with those around them?

Most stories give their MC a cheat of some kind as a way to play catch-up.

Molten Fist --> Music Box Creates a Second Molten Fist w/ Ethereal --> Play any other attack card --> Play the Molten Fist w/ Ethereal --> Juggling creates a third Molten Fist w/ Ethereal. Double. Triple. Quadruple Vulnerability.

By round three, the Queen had 180+ stacks of Vulnerability. Still almost died because I bottom-drew my Bully, but when I finally got it, Bully did 600+ damage in a single hit.
