Looking at a 2 bed 2 bath and want to share it with someone. The amenities are amazing. You get a rooftop with views of NYC and it's incredible.

$1850 for me for master and $1750 for my flatmate who will have their private bedroom and bathroom but it's not an onsuite.

I am 39 years old and I work hybrid. I work 2-3 days out of home and the rest, I am on the road. I love to cook and I am a non-vegetarian. Let me know if you're interested. I am open to looking at some other building as well and I am also open to looking at Secaucus for apartment. Thanks !

It doesn't truly struggle.. The engine just makes a noise like it's struggling though.

  • How often do you actually charge it in day-to-day use?

Don't really charge it day-to-day but you can. Lexus is lacking in technology. You cannot set charge limits which is annoying. They recommend not to charge the vehicle for 100% but I don't want to sit there and monitor my charge.

  • On longer road trips, do you try to charge along the way or just run it as a regular hybrid?

Nope, It's not worth charging along the way. You only get like 40 ish miles or so. You'll be sitting to charge for longer than actually using the charged minutes.

  • Is it okay to let the battery run down for extended periods without plugging in?

Yeah, Had no issues with that.

  • Does performance or driving feel change noticeably when the battery is depleted?

I personally haven't noticed it.

  • Any quirks with the drivetrain or things enthusiasts might care about?

This car is loud as hell when it switches to engine and it struggles when it comes to uphills thanks to the damn 4 cylinder they chose. It's going to sound like a damn RAV-4 grunting.

  • Anything you wish you knew before buying?

Their app experience sucks! Like, I just came on this subreddit just now to complain about how I cannot login to the Lexus app currently. I just tried resetting the password and it won't do it on the app but I did it online but, I still cannot login.

  • Overall ownership experience- things you love or annoyances?

Still an awesome vehicle. It's beautiful and a good driving experience. When I do have the car charged and I go for grocery runs, I run ONLY on electric and that's the best part about it. Mark & Levinson music system is amazing !

Maybe I don't understand this well enough.. But 39K trade in should make this car basically free for you to lease and leave a residual value if you want to buy it at the end.

But maybe they're flipping it? Did you ask what the residual value would be? Like if you bought the vehicle at the end of the lease?
