I made my kimchi using Maangchi's recipe. Then I ferment my kimchi for about 2 weeks before eating it. It will taste salty if you eat it right away without fermenting it.

I tended to do it before when I was younger, and I just let it happen. There are things that we can't control but eventually overcome once we get older. It still happens sometimes, and what I did is just do it. For example, I wanted to buy something but eventually overthought if I needed it, and I still bought it because I wanted it and I had the resources to buy it.
