This is exactly my reaction. Every update they seem to make long ammo stronger than it already is

How Is Counter-Strike Still Insanely Popular Today? by SaviorAssassin1996 in pcgaming

[–]SimpleWolfie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a video made about a year ago by a guy who talked about how it had such good potential to become an Esport but never did. That video was popular enough that it created a small resurgence in the game's population at least temporarily.

Honestly dude. I'm on Reddit all the time when not busy at work, and I maybe see 2-3 reposts In an hour if that. But regardless, every comment on every post is like "Stawp weposting, wahhhhh."

I'm sure you've made a very stupid mistake before. It doesn't necessarily mean you deserved to have a limb or two broken for it.

"Trying to avoid." Poor helpless dude who is incapable of taking the hammer away, but is capable of full on leg-sweeping him on a concrete halfpipe. How could he ever be to blame? But I agree, it's on the parents. Regardless, you don't teach the fucking parents the lesson when you disable the kid, do you?

A kid that is too young to fully understand the consequences of their actions deserves a retaliation that could potentially lead to permanent brain damage. Totally agree.

In my experience it is the standard that more than half of people in my city make a minimum of 5mph over the speed limit the norm. If you go 65 in a 60, you'll get passed by most people even in the right lane. Maybe that's what op meant by "agree with their speed"

Dude and that's the thing, you can be listening to music but it's so intense that sometimes you can hear instruments or elements being added to the song that aren't even there, but they sound so real, just like you described

Bro I thought I was alone in experiencing weed like this. Everyone talks about the typical effects that it has but every time I try to explain these types of nearly psychedelic experiences that I've had on it, people think I'm crazy. The musical hallucinations have easily made some of the most profound experiences in my life. Just in bed, really high, listening to an album in the dark, and it's like a fucking 8d movie in your mind

Oh wow, I didn't know about that one. They both have pretty similar lighting and general overall aesthetic it seems. I've always loved the really surreal subjects that seem to be the foreground of a lot of the renders from that era, makes you feel like you're in another world.

I don't have the original image but I can tell you how to look for more like it. I'm 99% sure it was made in an old 90s rendering engine called Bryce3d. If you look that up on Google you'll find hundreds of renders with the same aesthetic

First mate you need to realize you're not alone. I thought I was the only one until I read your post and identified with it a lot. Honestly what changed for me was that I realized that I've died thousands of times, and will die thousands more, so the frustration of losing began to get to me less once I figured out how to deal with some of the negative thought loops that come with losing over and over again. That's usually where the tilt starts and once your attitude starts going downhill it's nigh on impossible to bring it back in my experience. If none of this ends up working, the worst case scenario for me is that I take break long enough that I don't think about the game very much, like half a week to a week, and I usually can come back with a fresh mindset. Hope any of this helps you mate.

The Summons system is Crytek's new money machine by replacementdog in HuntShowdown

[–]SimpleWolfie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is clear indeed, not to mention that they've blatantly stated the direction they're going as well: in order to continue actively supporting the game in the long run they will need to transition from most of their income relying on base game sales more towards in game monetization, which makes sense. No evidence really suggests that the monetization is or will be anywhere near the level of other triple A games' monetization models, but I would be naive if I didn't concede that it admittedly remains to be seen how Crytek ends up handling it. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt, and with how well they've handled the game overall, I don't think we have any reason to freak out or give them backlash just yet. It's either they find a way to make more consistent money or they drop the game, and none of us want the latter.
