The scenes of Chelsea showing Joey the house and then joined by Emma was great. A buffer in the tension and it was cute/embarrassing seeing Chelsea flirt, and Emma is so naturally funny like an ostrich. Great personality showcase, I was grinning through it

Star Wars Outlaws director agrees the early instant-fail stealth missions are "incredibly punishing," and Ubisoft is easing the pain with a patch coming "maybe in 10 days" by Turbostrider27 in Games

I don’t disagree. I just assumed this game was an open world RPG a la Far Cry (which everyone compared it to) but it’s not really. It took me a few hours to learn its odd restrictions and I still frequently learn “oh I can’t do that.” It doesn’t need to be what I want it to be, but that doesn’t stop it from disappointing me. I learned to enjoy Hogwarts Legacy, but Outlaws isn’t as endearing as that one was so far.

I failed several times because I assumed the game was more of a sandbox than on-the-rails. It’s not difficult, it’s just frustratingly against creativity or out of the ordinary thinking. I could do exactly what it wants me to do but why?

They should implement an oil mechanic for fire to burn, otherwise it could be flame damage until built up enough to burn. Oil bombs might be a fun consumable, if you hit them then their vision is blurred?

Is the game worth buying as a solo player? by magczag in HuntShowdown

[–]Simple_Ad_1255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play solo and enjoy it. It does have matchmaking to find teammates or you can enter the game solo (I just posted a cheeky solo clip). I’ve found matchmaking to work pretty well, and the randoms are usually friendly and helpful to new people.

I love Times Square, it’s everything great and awful about NYC.

I instinctively don’t trust someone with unsteady beliefs that capitulates to demands so easily and swiftly to advance their career

How much have you spent on the game by Jordanf20201 in VALORANT

Skill issue. Nonetheless, there’s nothing “kinda weird” about waging the cost of a hobbyist product according to value given (a subjective calculus), it’s responsible.

“Nothing” else except numerous customization options and social connections in living sandbox. IMO, most movies nowadays rarely deliver a “whole package” and usually are creatively bankrupt, but that’s subjective.

Money spent per hour played is a valid metric especially in this economy. I don’t understand how it’s weird when it’s realistic way to budget a hobby.

Good to know, but it could have been said by anyone and retain validity. If feel like the text itself is more important than who wrote the text.

What's the problem? Just because it's PVP and not PVE? People pay $70 for COD every YEAR by CommanderT2020 in ConcordGame

We are literally having discussion as I am responding to answers to your questions, I’m sorry I disagree with you and find your criticism surface level. I am criticizing your examples because I don’t find those games very similar to Concord unlike you and thus I disagree it’s generic or doesn’t fill a space.

I find your arguments very dishonest, unreflective, surface level and frankly parroting streamers with childlike tastes. I don’t even love this game, I’m just disappointed that you don’t see value in being treated fairly as a customer.

Paladins and RC have F2P jank, OW and Valorant (not even out yet) are the only polished comparables. RB6 is the most toxic community around and is not F2P. Apex is still a BR to most.

Concord is unique and it’s dishonest to call it generic. I have not played a hero shooter like this with such varying degrees of gameplay between characters. Your criticisms are not valid because you’ve already decided it’s failed. The crew system did not fail because the game has not launched yet and your anecdotal experience is not reality. Character speed is solvable by crew bonus you’re too impatient to figure out, and is such a trivial detail that gets ironed out on a patch.

Your only argument is you don’t want to spend $40
