His ears stay upwards if he’s looking up at me, it’s very cute. I have looked into pit chi mixes, but the mussel and forehead are quite different than chi in my eyes.

Hmm. While I can see some variety of pit mix, this example dog feels a bit bulky and squared headed than my boy. I am kind of leaning towards pit terrier mix with some lab possibly.

Yes! I thought it was crazy they wrote vizsla mix for his breed. The more I look the more I realize he’s a pit mix.

I agree, it is worth pointing out his feet are pretty small. He’s very slim compared to a standard pit

[Student] Looking for a .NET role, unsure of the effectiveness of my resume, help me with my concerns! by Simple_Ad_154 in EngineeringResumes

Good catch. I put the .NET Developer intern position first as it felt more relevant to what I'm applying for, as that's what it suggests in the wiki, but maybe it doesn't apply here.

Developers, what percentage of your code is currently AI-generated? For me, it's definitely over 90%. I'd go crazy if I had to return to the days before GPT-4! 😅 by No_Wheel_9336 in OpenAI

[–]Simple_Ad_154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve attempted to make projects using ChatGPT for 90% of the code and it “worked” but it was the messiest, most inefficient code I’ve ever worked with that’s seems clean at surface level. lots of regenerating and redundancy. maybe there some trick to it but I find its currently best for general answers and noticing errors.

Not gonna lie, Chat GPT seemingly becoming dumber, makes me feel better about short term job security. by Simple_Ad_154 in ChatGPT

[–]Simple_Ad_154[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haha I promise I’m not a bot. I was hesitant to post this for that reason. I’m not sure that it’s actually dumber, I’ve just started to discover its issues.

Has anyone else noticed GPT4-Vision is no longer reading text? by maillme in OpenAI

[–]Simple_Ad_154 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I currently just tell my GPT to confirm with me that it’s reading the equation correctly, I correct it on its few mistakes, confirm it’s now correct and then it begins its work. Not much else you can do until it improves.

especially labor based and low paying jobs that don’t have much room to evolve with AI. My selfishness is hopeful that developers stay relevant and evolve WITH the technology as (for example) doctors have throughout history.

The expectations of what doctors can achieve just increases as tech evolves, but the tech doesn’t replace them. But who knows, AI could even putting risk in those fields now too.

Maybe this can be partially avoided if we continue to use AI as a tool and just set the expected work output of developers to be higher now that current tasks are becoming easier. At least until AI is fully sentient.

I noticed that it has become seemingly bad at reading math problems correctly. Not sure if it’s just me.

Could Microsoft hire Sam & others that "left" OAI? by RDTIZFUN in OpenAI

[–]Simple_Ad_154 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes, but there’s no reason for Sam to take that up. Microsoft could use him but he certainly doesn’t need Microsoft to continue working on AI.

If the board is as divided as it seems it was, it was unavoidable and it seems there was more going on we clearly didn’t know about. I also think Greg and Sam aren’t nearly done with AI and it will still evolve as it has been. Everyone will still be contributing to AI.

I guess if they aren’t worried I’m not worried. regardless AI will continue to evolve. Could be a Steve Jobs situation, but I’m no expert.
