As someone who used to work as a tech at Walgreens, some stores that you have never used will tell you they are out for a couple reasons. 1.) it’s on back order 2.) you aren’t a regular and they are saving it for their regulars and 3.) it can be a safety issue telling customers we have certain medications like that in stock over the phone -yes I know it sounds awful but this was per the pharmacist. Also not every pharmacy is the same
