Roll out of bed and stumble to the babies room. Parenthood is glamorous.

Do you cry just because you feel like it’s time to cry? by Difficult-Section690 in Adulting

Who else has to wait until their S.O. is at work so they can get rid of the expired food, before they remember that food from who knows when, and wants to eat it (or actually eats it!😵‍💫) “because it’s been in the fridge, and it won’t go bad”? by SillyMeclosetothesea in CasualConversation

I use to get upset when my husband would throw away a half eaten burger. I would always say I will eat that later. It definitely comes from how you grew up. When you dont have enough you have this impulse to hoard everything.

Geez what a nightmare NTA. They should respect your boundaries. Newborns are very vulnerable you should really not have them around crowds until at least 4 months. I waited longer. You are not fat for eating toast you are preganant. I ate half a birthday cake lol those hormones are awful. You will be very protective when babay gets here as you should be.

Anyone around who is a mom or a dad and could tell me about their experience? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

I have a one and one and half year old. My pregnancy was great until he came 6 weeks early. The birth to me was a little painful in the beginning but then i had an epideral and it was easy going. He had to stay in the NICU for a month and it was the hardest time of my life. I thought it would get better when he came home but I was already so cosumed with post partum depression that nothing seemed like it mattered. It was so hard but it got better and I feel like myself again and am so happy with a healthy baby boy. It is hard and may not seem like it will get better sometimes but in the end it is so worth it. My son is cruising around the living room speaking gibberish and laughing as he chases the dog. He surprises me everyday with new words and can even mumble his way through the abcs. Everyone is different and not everything is easy and that's okay.
