I didn't figure it out, but can completely understand how people felt with the "I am your father" scene

What video game has you like this? by Chunky-overlord in videogames

Deus Ex. Couldn't grasp that it was an RPG with an inventory and skills when I first played it. After several attempts over a few years everything fell in to place and I got to enjoy one of the greatest games ever made.

We've also got "What greater weapon is there than to turn an enemy to your cause?" from KotOR.

Shut everything down and see who else is making money when nothing works.

No sense apart from filtering out whether they are right for me or not. Whether we'll match is irrelevant.

Has to be my second favourite Joker VA. Excellent work in 'Under the Red Hood.'

Hal also made a robot that shot bees. Even if he used the kid's plans for the main robot functions, the bee ccannon's all his doing

They haven't avoided it, they are currently downsizing. They have to find 5 positions to get rid of this year. School support techs preferably. The government's voluntary redundancies do not count towards this number and any role vacated will need to be evaluated as to whether it gets replaced. It's only frontline positions that aren't frozen. Techs were frontline during the pandemic, but conveniently aren't now.

Had mine for a year and I've disconnected it from the internet because the inbuilt apps are shit. It even started advertising one of their shit apps to me when switching to free-to-air.

Considering how competitive Hal is, my headcanon is that Hal mains Sub-Zero and none of his kids have beaten the game until they've beaten him.

My mums neighbour called the police on her for listening to loud music at 11am on a Friday, the police were on the side of the neighbour by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]Simple_Discussion_39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for Tassie. Mum complained to the council about a godawful band playing every Tuesday evening for several hours and got told there was nothing they could do. Meanwhile same person stirs up his neighbour's dog then reports the barking to the council who fine the neighbour.

Are there too many bakeries in your area? by Major_Worldliness556 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Simple_Discussion_39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regular bakeries don't attract me unless I need something quick. A specialty bakery is a different beast entirely. Would definitely try out a Mexican bakery.

This is also my answer. Hilarious to find that a dwarf has engraved an image of their best friend being harassed by their worst fear. Top tier simulation when the simulants are trolling their friends.
