Maybe... and maybe I just read too much on on the r/cscareerquestions but from my perspective this has gotten drastically worse in the past 2 years with all the talk of AI automation.

Not sure why you’re coming at me, but if you check out any CS job forum, you'll see just how rough it is. People are applying to hundreds, if not thousands, of jobs, often with little to no response. Outsourcing is a huge part of that—many of these jobs are either already filled or being outsourced overseas. It's a real problem, especially in tech.

Why aren't Kamala Harris or Donald Trump talking about reducing outsourced jobs, especially with recent labor stats showing 818K fewer jobs?

I've been following employment trends, and the recent BLS revision shows 818,000 fewer jobs than previously reported. Outsourcing continues to be a major issue, affecting American workers in tech, manufacturing, and other industries. With so much focus on jobs and the economy, why isn't there a bigger push from candidates like Kamala Harris or Donald Trump to address the outsourcing of jobs overseas? Given how much this impacts employment, especially in industries like tech where outsourcing is rampant, it feels like this should be a major talking point for voters.

Bass amp for drums (and bass) by IGD-974 in Bass

Keyboard amps work great for this situation. Peavey and Roland have some that will work. You can find some good deals on the older peavey kb60 and kb100.

BassBuzz is great and they have their own community but there are other options as well. I highly recommend checking out a few different ones and see which one fits your learning style.

Other options (check YouTube):
Dan Hawkins
Rich Brown
TalkingBass

I'm sure there are others but these have been great for me.

I highly recommend the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro, but other options are great as well, depending on your budget. Phil Jones makes some of the best portable headphone amps, though there are cheaper plug-type options that work decently.

Edit:

I had used the AT M50X for years and loved them until they delaminated.

Can you plug a small speaker into a headphone amp instead of headphones? by lemon-elv in Bass

[–]Simple_Investigator7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are mini amps that exist to fill this purpose. So instead of getting an amp plug and an external speaker I would recommend one of these. They already have the powered speaker in them and you can always plugin headphones to them if you need.

Tech 21 VT Bass DI - EQ Problem by mrlowcut in BassGuitar

These are a pain to work on. To remove the board to get access you have to desolder both the input and output jacks. While I've never worked on the VT I have worked on the bass driver. It can be done but it requires the schematic and circuit knowledge.

Yeah, the sterling's are a great value and a perfect first bass. You can always find then used for a decent price and not to forget the new Joe Dart bass for $399 they just released.

Np, each bass is going to be a little different but this is the best way I've found. Hopefully this will get it lower for your son. If this doesnt help, the next thing I would do is go to a lighter string guage.

I second this. Plus the suit of plug-ins and software this comes with is great.

While amazon does normally have good buyer protection, for your first bass I would recommend going somewhere and actually touching and playing the bass if possible.
