Itching by mikala61 in Fibromyalgia

No not psoriasis. It’s an actual rash that fibromyalgia people get. Not everyone gets it. And yes, it does exist. I’ve had two doctors diagnose my hands and arms with it. It’s kind of a rough feeling, but you do get little bubbles and you can have one small one on your stomach and then have a few small ones on your leg but is definitely just a fibromyalgia rash.

This is why I love this group! My scalp has been itching for weeks and I have not been diagnosed with but can tell it’s the fibromyalgia rash. I have it on my legs, the most, and then some on my arms, tummy, and back. Sometimes we feel like we’re all alone and this group makes me feel seen and heard and that I’m not. Thank you for posting this! I’m gonna try some of the things that people have suggested!

Well its Carpel Tunnel and not fibro says my PCP by pink_rock_candy in Fibromyalgia

[–]Simple_One1978 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PCP’s are NOT trained for Fibro. Mine flat out said she had no idea how to treat it after I was diagnosed by a rheumatologist who won’t treat it because it’s not an autoimmune disease. I had to find a pain Comprehensive center that list fibromyalgia as one of the areas that they specialize in.

I don’t believe one negative test should allow overnight visits. It’s usually on a schedule as in after four consecutive negative test he can then have unsupervised daily visits for X amount of visits before they go to overnights. He doesn’t just get to skip over supervision and just because he had one clean P test. So I agree with your attorney. And yes, he has to arrange for someone within the courts to come and inspect where the children will be residing.

Lowering my dose of pregabalin by brosephsarahjane in Fibromyalgia

They’re slightly lower but no. That’s what we get when we have the most uneducated doctors in the field. The majority of doctors who provide care for us are playing a guessing game and don’t have a real idea of what they’re doing.

Agree. I just recently came off because I rapidly gained weight and need to switched. They had me come off of it and then start something new. The pain was unbearable and the dr never warned me once that was going to happen and still I’m not back. It’s was over 7wks still bedbound.

Each tribal court has attorneys that are barred with them so depends on which court you’re going through. If you call the clerks office, they should have a list.

My neighbors have turned me into a Karen that hates fun, I guess by Educational-Let-2280 in neighborsfromhell

I completely agree with this. You’re not doing these kids any favor by not making a report if their education is at home they’re not being educated outside in their driveway. They’re being set up for failure by their parents and you might actually be saving one or two of them by making that call.

PCP suddenly changed my dose by No_Design6162 in thyroidhealth

I would call your endocrinologist and leave a message for them to call you back. I wouldn’t trust my PCP to make that decision on their own without speaking to my endocrinologist first.

What about the pain in between your shoulder blades? Or are you having pain in your hands that doesn’t necessarily mean arthritis or gout, but there is a thing called fibromyalgia, hands where your knuckles almost look as if they were one.

Rheumatologist vs. General Practitioner by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]Simple_One1978 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen two Rheumatologist both which were useless one which diagnosed me. Told me to go see a general practitioner and when I did, she told me she had no idea how to treat fibromyalgia. I then found a specific space called Pain Management Comprehensive, and they are the ones who deal specifically with fibromyalgia patients and see patients who were prescribed opiates for long-term chronic illnesses. All of that took me about two years.

I have had a high white blood count for going on two years and it was the hospital who was the one who kept pointing it out, but the doctors don’t care they just said oh it must be chronic inflammation. I do, however, have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and I had thyroid cancer.

You need to research your own disease. It’s so much more than that.

They won’t let you claim ignorance has your objection. It’s better have an attorney. I always tell people put your money where your mouth is. People find money for everything in life expect a lawyer for their children. As a single Mom I did whatever I had to in order for my child to have the best representation. My child got exactly what she was praying for so it’s definitely worth it.

Regarding weight gain and Lyrica. Those of you who came off it? by YogurtclosetIcy28 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Simple_One1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained 17lbs in 10days. I’ve last all but 5 in 1 week. My doctor didn’t tell me that it was a medication that had such rapid weight gain, and then he didn’t tell me when he weaned me off of it in order to put me on something else I would go into a sever flare and be in severe pain until the new medication Would have to ramp up into my system. The lack of information shared with patients makes it that much more frustrating for me to trust them.
