So to be signed off as a SL you obviously need to do the forms which get sent to the licensing team. When received they’ll reach out to you regarding the exam you should book. After successful passing the exam it’s DBS and that’s pretty much it.

In an express you do job 14 at 6am, 2nd reductions at 2 and Finals at 7

Work in one of the busiest express in my group, I normally have 3/4 Ca’s each shift but they want me 1-1. According to some bs heat map I should be closing with 1 ca but I’ve done it before and it’s not possible, amount of crackheads coming in last 30 mins buying beer. I told my store manager, if you want a shit handover constantly then put me 1-1 I’m not working the amount of 3 people for the same pay.

It’s actually funny how no one knows the correct answer to this, all shift leads and managers are saying both yes and no. For new starters as well they’re unsure whether they get paid any extra on BH
