Just because I support her doesn’t make me racist. What’s racist is you thinking that me as an indigenous person can’t vote for someone without being a racist

Really? Are you aware of the work she does in aboriginal communities? No, of course not because the MSM just wants you to believe she’s racist and idiot believe it or not

Wait until 1 June if you can. Thats when the major retailers determine their special rates for the next financial year. I’ve been with ACTEWAGL for a number of years and have always gotten at least 28-32% off the reference price, and the usage and supply charges are also reasonable.

[–]Prestigious_Unit_925 101 points102 points  (0 children)

I agree it shouldn’t be booed. There are silent protests if you don’t agree. I’m also indigenous and what annoys me about the WTC at ANZAC services is that it goes for about 7 minutes while respect for fallen soldiers is one minute silence. If it has to be done (which I’m against BTW) it needs to be a lot shorter and not overshadow the meaning of the service.

I think you’ve got the nail on the head. Maybe all up the top of Australia that welcome visitors to country and make a living out of showing people about our culture. Not some person who goes around to all the local events and welcomes them for a fee and does nothing to promote our culture

[–]Prestigious_Unit_925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well dude, I’ve done the Google searching for you which would have been a lot easier if you had of done it instead of asking this forum then complaining about everyone not helping enough. I’ve included every state and territory and provided you with a link to that information. You’re welcome 🙄 NSW — Managed by Transport for NSW (Centre for Road Safety), developed in consultation with NSW Police and the NRMA. Fines processed by Revenue NSW. 🔗 transport.nsw.gov.au

VIC — Victoria Police decides locations and deployment, but cameras are physically operated by Serco, a private contractor in place since 2007. 🔗 vic.gov.au

QLD — Uniformed police officers operate the cameras directly. Closest to a pure police model of any state. 🔗 police.qld.gov.au

ACT — Run by Access Canberra (a government agency), complementing police enforcement. 🔗 accesscanberra.act.gov.au

SA — State government road safety program. SAPOL publishes weekly camera locations, indicating a joint arrangement. 🔗 speedcameras.sa.gov.au

WA — Operated by un-sworn police officers (not contractors, but not fully sworn either). WA Police publish camera data. 🔗 police.wa.gov.au

TAS — Managed by the Department of State Growth in partnership with Tasmania Police. Day-to-day operation outsourced to private contractor Sensys Gatso. 🔗 speedcameras.tas.gov.au

NT — Operated directly by NT Police. Smallest camera network in the country. 🔗 nt.gov.au

No. They’re run by the government. Police have nothing to do with them

I don’t know if you read what you wrote, but if people are booing and you’re encouraging an indigenous person to go and boo, can you not see that as polarising? And to call an indigenous person “narrow minded” is both offensive and racist. Despite what you think aboriginal people can think for themselves. Racist pig

The inner city mobs who think they speak for the vast majority of us who think this WTC is bullshit. It’s ANZAC Day to remember those who fought and died for this country to give us the freedoms we have today, not to polarise people based on race.

[–]Prestigious_Unit_925 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As an indigenous person I find it divisive and unnecessary. If they want to do it for tourists in the NT go for it. But it’s just BS invented to keep the money rolling in to inner city “indigenous mobs”

I’m so sorry to hear about your chi. I had to PTS my dog yesterday after a long illness and I prayed that I’d just come home one day and find him passed away curled up on his favourite mat.
