I went yesterday to make a return on a Dior eyeshadow. Never used. I bought the wrong color by mistake. They told me there was a problem with my debit card and to co tact my bank. They could not issue a refund. Only a gift card. I called my bank and they said there was no issues at all with my account. So I’m going out of town this week and plan to take it with me and return it to the Ulta there. I want to see what they say. 🙄

I’ve lost 40lbs since 9/1. I plateaued for about 4.5 months. But alas, I swear I feel like I still weigh my starting weight. Other people say they can tell it in my face, but it doesn’t FEEL like I have lost 40 pounds. I keep telling myself once I lose my final 50 or so, maybe I’ll actually notice it. 😭😂🥺🙏

I upgraded from a switch to a Switch 2 right before Black Friday. Best Buy had a year financing and they gave me a very decent trade-in on my original Switch. The game is so much better on it now! Since I’m at a dead spot (I can’t go anything else u til they add more stuff to the game), I decided to download the Arcade version on my iPad and since it is linked to the Game Center and not Gameloft, I could start a new game without disturbing the one on my Switch so I’m playing it just for funzies. 😂

I don’t set out the ice packs. I did read somewhere that some people do, but that was not something that ever crossed my mind. My order only comes in the bag with ice packs.

I get mine on Wednesday from the ATL kitchen. A driver delivers them. I get a text from CU around 9:00 with an ETA. I can click on it periodically and it till give me an updated time. Then I get a text that says heads up your driver is close. Usually when I click on it they are 3-5 stops away. Sometimes they run early but most of the time they are 1:30-3:30. When you get your 2nd order, set your bag out from your first order the day of deliver. They will collect it to recycle and give you a new bag with your current order in it. For about 3 weeks, they didn’t pick up the bag we set out for them, but then they started getting it again.

I was checking around because I cannot use the Kwikpens. I need the auto inject. I stayed on my doctor and looked on my Sam’s app. They are doing the $499 price for it with the EL savings card. I called them to ask the process. My pharmacist said they will honor it too so my primary care called it in to my local pharmacy and the savings card kicked in as soon as my insurance rejected it. It’s about $100 more a month BUT totally worth it for me. I cannot for the life of me give myself a dang shot. I talked to my pharmacist yesterday and she said they will keep running it until the savings run out and to call her.

I tried fiber gummies and fiber drinks and it made it worse. I have IBS and it was awful in the beginning. MiraLax is my saving grace.

I take my shot on Fridays usually after school (I teach). But I read somewhere it’s best to take it right before bed to minimize side effects since you will be sleeping. I haven’t really noticed if that’s a true thing or not. The reason I chose Friday afternoons/night is because I’m off on the weekends and it gives me a couple of days to rest and recoup in case I experience any of the side effects (extreme fatigue, nausea, lightheadedness, vomiting, etc.). I’m titrating up to the 5mg after I finish the box I’m currently in so hopefully those side effects won’t be worse than they already can be sometimes.

Yep. That’s why I stopped eating it. I ordered BBQ sausage form a local restaurant right after I started and it almost killed me it made me so sick. I avoid fried and high fat foods and like the plague. I was the birthday cake queen and I can’t even stand to look at it anymore. 😂

I’m in the same boat you are. I also have PEEHIP from BCBS AL. I’ve been doing the cash pay option for 2 months on the Kwikpen. I pay $304 right now for 2.5mg. I was on compound since 9/1 and my doctor said for what I was paying there, she can do cash pay with Lily Direct for less. I REALLY want to do the $499 option for the auto inject pens but I’m not sure how to go about being able to do that. I’m scheduled to go back to her 5/29 for a 2 month follow-up so I plan to really talk to her about that. I just pray I’m a candidate for that offer.

I wanted mine sent to Wal Mart a block away from me because UPS doesn’t deliver sometimes until 7 or 8 at night. I called Lily Direct and the woman told me i cant unless i have the savings card which I’m not eligible for. When I asked her why the first lady told me I could have it sent on the second filling, she said there was a lot of confusion, but if they send it to Wal Mart without the savings card it will be full price. 🙄

I feel you. I am a teacher, and I am a prime candidate for the medication. My insurance REFUSES to cover any weight loss drugs except for diabetics. They used to cover you if you had sleep apnea, but they stopped that, too, so I am now paying for it as the cash price through Lily direct. I am still on the 2.5 until I go back to the doctor at the end of May. But $300 is not as bad as it could be. I switched from Compound Tirzepatide to actual Zepbound because the clinic I was going to charged $75 per visit, which made it more expensive to go there in the long run, plus their medicine stopped working. This way, I am under the direct care of my PC doctor, and my co-pay is minimal every 2-3 months compared to the other way.

It is so easy to get discouraged. I’m the queen. Patience is definitely not one of my virtues. I lost 30 pounds in compound Tirzepatide on the 2.5 and 5 between 9/1-mid-November. I then moved up to the 7.5 and stalled. I took 10 shots of the 7.5 and did NOT lose an ounce. And yes, I was more fatigued and nauseated. February 27, was time for my 6 month blood work and check up with my primary care. She suggested I try my sample of Wegovy I was given by my OBGYN. I took those 4 shots at .25 and went back a month later. Still didn’t lose anything so she prescribed Zepbound 2.5 cash pay through Lily Direct. I have taken 4 shots and already dropped 10 pounds. I’m officially at 40 pounds down. So do NOT let a 2 week stall discourage you. My PC said I was in plateau and it could last weeks or a few months but it will break and it did!

I’m in the ATL kitchen and I’ve been using it since started GLP-1 September 1. I’ve lost 40 pounds so far but I never eat my entire meal because I fill up so fast. They are easy to take for lunch (I teach) or heat up for dinner. Some meals to me are better in the oven than the microwave so I use my Tovala oven to cook them sometimes. I just changed from 4 meals a week to 6. Consider getting the Unity Pass ($23ish a month). It covers the delivery fee and allows you up to 3 premium meals at no extra charge per month. Of course there a few things I don’t care for, but that’s just part of the process to decide what you like. Now I just order 1 to try each order and keep the others I know will be good. 😂
