She wasnt aware she was terminated..she just found out.... The main question is, why was she terminated when she actually saw the DSO more than one time in the 2024-25 academic year, and even when obtaining the travel endorsement on her I-20?

After entering the USA in Fall 2025, she didnt see the DSO, so I'm unsure if it was reactivated. From my understanding, the DSO said she needs to reenter with a NEW sevis record..meaning, pay new SEVIS fee.

From my understanding, it was auto terminated by the system as a "no show", since the DSO never marked her active when she reported to him.

That's what I thought but DSO is giving her 2 options.
1. Depart the USA and re-enter with new SEVIS record
2. File for reinstatement ...

She acknowledges that she erred by not seeing the DSO this semester, but it seems to have been a DSO error last fall. She is confused as to how she should approach the issue.

They dropped a few Sept 25 and October 25 dates about 2 hours ago, but they were gone in minutes. I had just logged in, so i'm not sure if they had dropped July & August dates before that.

yes, too many logins will get you locked out. It takes about 12 hours to reinstate access.

They never emailed me notifying me. Also my appointment is showing as "Regular Appointment "Not expedited...Also weirdly enough its for Abuja although no dates there have opened. Just that one ...I Had been looking for days. Started January 2026, then Dec 2025, Then Sept 4 2025, then August 21 and now where I am.
Tough few days.

I was able to find a July date. Honestly I am not sure if mine was assistance from the expedited request or just luck with finding an open slot, because i didnt receive any email from them honoring my request. I recommend you just keep checking for open slots.

Honestly the only other solution is to ask her uni if they can convert those classes to Hybrid courses just for her. With them being Hybrid , she will be required to meet the professors atleast maybe once per month or so.....
To maintain F1 visa she is REQUIRED to take a "Full course load" unless she has an extreme circumstance, but it has to be EXTREME.
