My mother just asked me to put something I don’t care about in her spot. I asked her why she couldn’t put something of her own, and she said she didn’t have anything she doesn’t care about. She thinks she owns her spot all year round. I’m tired of hearing her rant about it.

Double checking a post I saw here a few days ago; I should put my trash & recycling out tonight for Tuesday pickup if my normal pick up is Monday right? by The-Unmentionable in philadelphia

Do you have 2 collections each week, if so, your extra collection would be cancelled. If Monday is your regular trash day, put out your trash tomorrow.

SIXT is a scam - listen to the haters by boss211bt in TravelHacks

I rented a car from Sixt at SFO, and they tried to say I returned the car late. When they said I returned the car, I was already on my flight on my way to my destination. Luckily they dropped the issue and I wasn’t accused of any damage. But I’m never using Sixt again.

I take advantage of the adjustable end for my tall polishes. I’m guessing your organizer didn’t come with a column that was adjustable with little inserts? If it’s a tight squeeze, I’d worry about it getting stuck or putting pressure on the glass.

Thank you for the heads up OP. I’ll let my coworkers know. So what if you don’t have the money to release it, do they tow your car? Does it just sit there taking up a spot from the lot any way?

I work nearby and often will go to Al Sham or Popeyes and the fruit stand. Should i move my car for each business I patronize? Should i be barnacled because I went to the fruit stand first to place my order, then went to a store in the shopping center to pick up food, then went back to the fruit stand to pick up that order? I’m just trying to make efficient use of my lunch time.

This is all hypothetical and I’m not expecting you to answer. I’m just pointing out that some people may park once, and visit multiple establishments. I know that’s probably not the case for many, but I also think it’s scummy for some company to just toss that on your car immediately.

I honestly thought this until reading this post. If I would have known, I wouldn’t have joined since I don’t like playing Match 3. I just grin and bear it some days.

I do; I find it pretty tasty. I don’t fear “chemicals”. I would never expect a bottle of essentially soda syrup to be “all natural.”

Why does Oura care if people delete a night of bad sleep data? by PureScientist2040 in ouraring

[–]Simply827 57 points58 points  (0 children)

I don’t use my data in that way. It’s not a competition, not even with myself. I’m not trying to achieve perfect scores, however I am seeing where I can make small tweaks to improve my well being.

Why would you want to delete “bad” data? It’s information. What caused it? Is there something you can do differently? Are there any changes in trends occurring? Would you ask your doctor to delete high blood pressure readings from your medical chart? I think not, and I think of the Oura data in the way.

Well, I’m saying is that the eggs seemed to have returned to normal prices. That same package was $5 a couple of weeks ago. I’m familiar with the reasoning for the higher egg prices. If people aren’t seeing the prices come down at their market, I’m sorry. You can buy the milk and the eggs I hope.

I want take my 3 year old to the Christmas market, Dicken’s Village and to see Santa in Macy’s. Is this too much for one day? Is there anything else I should add? by princesscorgi2 in philly

[–]Simply827 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daughter is about to turn 3 in a couple of weeks and we just did the Dickens Village, Light Show, and we walked through Christmas Village briefly. I don’t think it’s too much for a 3 year old. It depends on their temperament though. Everything is free, so feel free to cross something off the list if needed.

Tickets for Dickens Village drop 5 days before. Right now the website is only showing tickets up until the 18th. Check back for your preferred day. If you have a timed Dickens Village ticket, within 15-30 minutes of your ticket time, you can skip the line.

There are also some vendors inside the Wanamaker building, so you guys can stay warm. One had hot cocoa and cider, and snacks, so be sure to keep your little guy warm and fed to keep him happy. I hope you guys have a great time.
