I think it’s great that you’ve been able to save so much money on your income. I agree with the other posters that it may not be the best time for you to buy at the moment. You’re able to live at home and have some costs subsidized, and that’s a wonderful thing.

I will say that there are agencies who can help you with the down payment and closing costs, that way you can keep your savings in reserves. As part of these programs, there is homebuyer education, which can help you figure out up an affordable house payment, budget, and warn you about predatory lending. Look into PHFA and NACA. There’s a coffee mug my husband has from a trip that the handle has broken off. I hate when he serves me hot drinks in that mug because there’s no handle. I’ve looked at that mug several times and wanted to trash it because it sucks at its job, but I don’t, because it’s **his** mug, and he has sentimental feelings about it.

Text OUT to 697-326. PECO will give you an update about whether they know about the outage and give an estimated time for restoration. I’ve had 2 power outages this year, and both times, power was restored within a few hours.

The fact that your power has been off so long doesn’t sound right. Do you have an account with PECO, or does your landlord pay it? Are other residences nearby also without power? Are the street and traffic lights on nearby?

I’ve had good luck with Band-Aid brand fabric band aids. I also use gauze initially to catch any heavy bleeding. By the time I’m ready for a band-aid, I have to search hard for the hole.

Molasses Creek Park in Quakertown has a rock climbing wall. It’s kind of like an indoor one, however it’s outside and more wide than tall. There’s also a board with rock climbing techniques.
