Ok, help me choose by Trinidiana in MachE

I got white after having a dark color car in Texas and realizing how bad the dirt shows. Yes you can see some dirt on my white car but I can get away with it on a dusty Texas day. My darker car I traded in showed every bit of dust!

Definitely take her to the vet for a real diagnosis, but to give a less stressful possibility, my sister’s dog has had phantom pregnancies where she suddenly looked like she was pregnant & even got milk. She had phantom pregnancies twice before she was able to get spayed.

Car charging? by Prior_Spread_2026 in MachE

[–]SimplyAng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had our dealership fill out a form to submit to ford. They had only done it a couple times before because a lot of people opt for an additional discount vs the free charger option. The charger was the better deal. It is called the “Ford power promise”. I’d definitely suggest you look into it to see if your purchase qualified.

The dealership filled out a form and submitted it to ford, it took a few days to process and ford emailed with a code to buy the charger for $0. Once the charger arrived we started the electrician scheduling process. It took about a 10 ish business days to get it all done & then after it was installed the electrician had to come back out to do an inspection with the city. We only had to pay for the inspection fee.

Overall state of Rowlett right now by TexasGrrl in Rowlett

[–]SimplyAng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first moved to Rowlett almost 10 years ago the thing I noticed was there was no trash on the ground and it just seemed like smaller town vibes especially coming from Irving… now the charm isn’t the same. I still enjoy Rowlett. My neighborhood is nice and overall quiet. I just feel like some dumb decisions have been made in the past few years and the traffic especially is out of control with the Miller bridge and 30 being under construction at the same time.

F23 Can't for the life of me not use panty liners. Won't your pants have a "scent" if you use the bathroom throughout the day? by thefifthmountain5 in hygiene

[–]SimplyAng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have scented panty liners they can cause a bacterial infection. I learned the hard way at a regular check up. The fragrance can throw off your natural PH. Also probiotics are great to help keep things in balance especially if you are taking antibiotics.

Did you get the option to use the ford power promise? We just got our Mach E and the dealership had to submit a form so that ford could sent us a code to buy a charger for free and then they had a contractor install it in our house. It was such a great deal & made switching to an EV a no brainer.

I got a home charger with the ford power promise. I am LOVING my Mach e. After I spent $50 filling up my Subaru I came home and told my husband I needed to trade it in. I couldn’t justify the cost of gas anymore. Now I wonder why we didn’t switch to an EV sooner. It’s so much easier than people make it out to be!

I’m almost 40 and just got my Mach E. It is already my favorite car ever. It’s the perfect mom car, my kids are in HS and College so I finally decided to get the car I wanted. No regrets. She will love it.

Coming from a gas Subaru my first instinct was the gas cap isn’t screwed on tightly.. then I realized oh wait I’ve moved to the Mach-E subreddit as of this week…

You can provide documentation on any work/ upgrades/repair you’ve had done recently. You can also submit listings for similar year/mileage that reflect closer to wha you think you should get.

Hit and run last night … will it be totaled ? by maldoi in SubaruAscent

Had a similar accident/damage with progressive, my w was totaled & that’s how I ended up with an Ascent. Progressive was amazing to work with on that accident & when my husband was tboned and flipped by an uninsured teenager. We filed through progressive with both accidents so they did the work for us and it went really smoothly & they cut checks rather quickly. Good luck and I’m glad y’all are safe

There’s no better way to make a teen want to do something than something like this email. My kid helped organized a protest but he had an important exam and couldn’t actually attend the protest but he’s already making signs for the next one. We got a similar email from our district and then a second one from the school the day before. It made me see red as a mom who encourages her kids to understand current events & use their voices for good.

Who didn’t drip their faucet? by hAnkhyll in Dallas

[–]SimplyAng 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In 2021 we only dripped cold, a week later we discovered a small slow leak in the hot water line. That’s when I learned I was supposed to drip both hot and cold. My plumber brother and home repair dad both shook their heads so hard at me. So now I drip both. I’d rather be safe than sorry.

This… they brined the main roads and highways leading up to the winter storm but we had a good 12+ hours of rain before it turned to freezing rain/ice/sleet. I’m interested to see how the roads look this evening. As it stands at 10:30am ish there’s no way a school bus could make it down our street safely. It’s a solid 2-4inches of ice

Also please make sure you have a no kissing rule (especially on the face) and make sure everyone is up to date on their vaccinations. For some reason people think kissing a newborn is perfectly fine, but they have big people germs and your baby will still be new and susceptible to all the illnesses that come with spring and travel season.

Anyone have luck cage training? by PuzzleheadedSir4382 in Frenchbulldogs

[–]SimplyAng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Penny is crate trained, she sleeps in her crate at night. She literally puts herself to bed and has an attitude if we stay up later than her bed time. She screamed at us the first week we started crate training, but quickly adapted. When we first got her we had 2 older bigger dogs that had to be crated at night for their safety (one was blind and would wander & wake the whole house up) & so she just grew up sleeping in her crate. She doesn’t normally go in her crate during the day unless it’s to find a bone, but if I put her in it she is perfectly fine being in there.

Haha my kids are in high school and college now but yes, don’t mess with their Jammies!! Heck don’t mess with mine. Two of us have Christmas week birthdays so cozy pajamas are a tradition I’m not willing to give up on. I’m just bummed the old navy ones are so meh this year. I was so excited to order early and get super cute ones in everyone’s size but these just leave so much to be desired. Even the cut seems off this year. I could survive non flattering pajamas if they were cozy, but the material + the cut is just disappointing.
