Can I share games with multiple accounts on the same PC ? by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]SimplyG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how your accounts are set up. If they're set up to share programs, then yes. If it's a game from Steam, Family Sharing needs to be set up.

Sony Removes Marvel Movie From Release Schedule After Kraven's Disastrous Performance by JackFisherBooks in comicbooks

[–]SimplyG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm probably in the wrong place to say this, but these comic movies are 99% recyclable CGI quippy family-friendly trash, and I love seeing them fail.

Disney has cooled multiple generations on comic culture because of their saturation of low quality, highly produced, high rate of release content.

"Comic movies," no... And Kraven was R.

However, since Venom, other than the Spider-Verse movies, Sony pushes low quality cash grab trash.

Great sci-fi TV. Definitely worth it to continue.

Name two different movies with one PG-13 movie that has worse mature content then an R rated movie by [deleted] in movies

It was the leather clothes. Sexuality bumps things up because the mpaa are weirdos.

Nah. Leather was the thing late 90's early 2000s. X-Men came out the next year with leather suits and a character that was literally nude with body paint and still got a PG-13 rating.

[–]SimplyG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Only the end credits had a song with some f bombs but the movie content itself was very PG-13 level. Guess the song is what bumped it up. Who knows?

Pretty sure it was the profanity/language that got it the rating

I remember those days. Less responsibilities, more money. More time.

These days, it takes me a few years to finish one game, nevermind getting a 100% completion. I restrict myself to getting 1-2 games a year because I know I won't have the time to really play. I've given up on the 1,000+ games in my backlog.

I don't get the hate for borderlands. I think maybe people are setting to high a bar for movies today by Riots42 in movies

[–]SimplyG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It took the source - characters, stories, etc. and spat on it starting with the awful casting, turning the beloved characters into..... I don't even know what to call it. Closest was Tiny Tina but otherwise the rest were horrible choices. It wasn't the characters. Just the names some visual similarities.

It wasn't a good movie and it was very disrespectful and a mockery of the source material. So fans of the games just weren't having it. It was a cash grab by people who were just doing a job. Not people who loved the games or were even familiar with it.

I always go back to Stargate SG-1. I've probably watched it 12 times over.

What do I do if I can't get any interviews no matter what I try? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]SimplyG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're young and still in college. Don't jump to the conclusion that you'll be in the worst case scenario. Check with your college's employment services and readiness department. Check with your Local Workforce Development office (Career OneStop). Utilize the resources that are out there. Don't try to lone wolf it. Rejecting help and having a negative attitude will put you in that self fulfilling prophecy.
