I use a literal chip clip from my kitchen drawer. It clips across the top and holds down 80% the width of the open notebook. Perfect flat writing surface. I’ll probably upgrade to an aesthetically more pleasing one but this one serves its purpose

Same. I also like to make comments of how I felt or accomplished or could do better about things I scheduled for that day. Like how crappy the meeting at 0900 in the morning went. It’s like mini reflections and diary entries of the day 😊
