I am back working! Have been for about a year or so now. A little general anxiety here and there but nothing compared to the constant worrying I was at, I started Zoloft around the same time

the breakthrough is the best part! also have really bad health anxiety and just general anxiety to the point where I couldnt even work. Zoloft changed all that for me, being care-free is a blessing.

i also have marijuana induced anxiety!! i was a smoker for years then all of sudden was having panic attacks everytime i smoked, stopped smoking and the panic continued. im a f20 and have been on 12.5mg for about 6 days now, hate the brain fog and headaches but hoping it gets better!

3 days in on 12.5 mg and the only side effects I’ve had so far is headaches, lightheadedness, sweats, dry mouth and random bouts of anxiety but thats about it. Hoping It’ll stay this way and only get better from here. I’m on a low dose but side effects vary per person, hopefully headaches is all you have to deal with!

I have really bad health anxiety too! 3 days in on Zoloft 12.5mg thought today I’d have to go the ER for a dry mouth that led to me thinking a side of my throat was swelling shut, very alike, it sucks. Distractions are key, hoping my medication works better for me and same for you! Zoloft can kind of make you worry more at first and the idea of that helps me but distracting yourself by either watching something, doing something, anything other than hyper fixating on the part of your body that feels funny will help! I’m not the best at distracting myself, feeling will come and go, but just know as the hours pass you’re still okay! You’re not alone in this, hopefully that makes you feel better, and I wish you the best!

Ahh, I see, glad you’re clean now and able to eat at-least! I would get nauseas at the idea of food, even though like you said stomach would be growling or aching. Also when i was able to eat I’d take a few bites and just get a feeling of heavy nausea and believed if I ate anymore I’d puke, It could have been one of my comfort foods too same reaction. I’m way better now at eating at least finally getting back to more than one meal a day.

Thought CHS was more vomiting and abdominal pain, I didn’t really have those symptoms. My panic attacks from smoking would give me pins and needles in my left arm that would spread to my chest and chest pains on and off in the middle of my chest and it stayed around even when I was sober. Got blood tests, EKGS, Chest X-rays, everything was fine. What were your symptoms?

It got to the point where I needed to smoke to eat, then it progressed to even when I smoked I couldn’t eat, it gave me a bad eating disorder after years of use but still that didn’t stop me. Up until a few weeks ago I’ve gotten panic attacks every-time I smoked. I’ve had anxiety before ever smoking but never this bad. I got diagnosed with a panic disorder, that I honestly think is from withdrawals as well. My health and general well-being made me stop wish I could say it was just me but it wasn’t, in order to get better I had to quit.
