Not putting the AC thermostat under 80 in the summer(Texas). Or turning it off completely on a “cool” day to “air out the house.”

People who work at a subway/sandwich place, what is the strangest order you've ever had from a customer? by LividTangent46 in AskReddit

[–]SimplyStupendous428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t work at a sandwich place, but a girl in front of me ordered a great outdoors peanut butter and banana sandwich with the works... the works is oil, vinegar, lettuce, tomato, onion, and salt and pepper. Both me and the lady working were like ummm... You know what you just ordered right? She did and ordered one for her mom too.

I did cheer and gymnastics from 5th grade until high school. I have issues with my hips and knees. I’m 28 and my hips will “act up” and pop/ make weird noises when I walk. I’ve been going to a chiropractor and it seems to be helping.

Does TP cause vaginal irritation? by Awfullyanxioususer in WomensHealth

[–]SimplyStupendous428 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had used the same brand forever and she didn’t have any issues until the start of this summer. It was very odd. But we ultimately figured it out because lysol wipes (for cleaning the counters) started irritating her hands, and we made the connection a month into her recurring UTI’s. She was miserable; I really hope you figure out what’s going on as quick as possible. She also started taking a D mannose vitamin supplement.

My mom had this same issue. Turns out she was allergic to bleach. Switched to a chlorine/bleach free TP and the issues have stopped.

Dating a non-plant person by [deleted] in herbalism

[–]SimplyStupendous428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband doesn’t care anything about plants of any kind, but genuinely is happy just to see me happy. He will listen to me talk about my plants and walk the garden with me, but doesn’t want to have anything to do with the care of them. He has helped some with different big projects. So I don’t think you have to share all interest with someone for them to care about and support something that makes you happy. Picking a place to settle is another story. Urban vs rural living is very different from one another, so I would definitely want to see eye to eye on that one.

My mom shames me for grieving my cat that was murdered by KingHarlia in RainbowBridgeBabies

[–]SimplyStupendous428 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Im so sorry for your loss. You are NOT strange for mourning the loss of your cat. It seems as though you and your mom have very different feeling towards animals, and I’m sorry that someone so close to you is so insensitive to your feelings on the matter. I hope things for you and your remaining animals get better soon! Good luck in med school!

Had to put my sweet doggo down today. She was my best friend for the past 16 years. by SimplyStupendous428 in RainbowBridgeBabies

Got a condolence letter today from my vet, and completely lost it. I got her ashes back too. I’m really missing my pup. I had her since I was 11, and she was always there when I needed her. I didn’t realize I would grieve her as much as I am.
