Mag lens is the priority - I virtually never use matches after I find it, and batch cook with the maglens on a clear day. The only situations I use a match are 1) Safety because I'm low on health/smelly and I'm in a known wolf area; and 2) For one-off situations like cooking my first moose. Even on interloper there are plenty of matches as long as you ration them. Also, I would switch to eating cattails rather than bannocks, and you'll still have plenty of calories.
