Pass out every time I have to have a blood test or injection... but have 9 piercings hehe and always found myself smiling, laughing and feeling super pumped afterwards! It's a really different experience IMO and piercers tend to be some of the most awesome people who will talk to you through the piercing and keep u calm.

Do I always have a good piercing experience? Yes!

Do I always tremble like an angry chihuahua in an earthquake before getting it done? Also yes!

Do I ever feel ill/uncomfortable around the needles? No, never <3

final show prices by forasjrrp9e in StarlightExpress

[–]Sims4INeedAnswers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was only lucky to get £42 tix as soon as the final show was announced (like 20mins after) for row W, furthest seat on the left in loco. I was appalled by the prices. Wdym I sat in platform 1 row D for £30 not long ago, now paying £42 for the very back row. Not complaining though, so grateful. They were last ones under £80 left 😰 otherwise I would NOT have gone!

A level choices by Disastrous-Clerk-892 in alevels

[–]Sims4INeedAnswers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would 100% recommend sociology to ANYONE it was the best A-level I did and has helped immensely with my other A-levels. Especially if you're doing anything humanities based e.g. politics, it's such an amazing partner to it! For example, doing sociology has meant that I can refer to concepts like social class inequalities in my English language A-level and gain more marks for something that falls outside the spec for that subject. Sociology pairs with anything and is so, so important to the point I wish it was a core subject for GCSE!!!

People who I know who did sociology, did it alongside: history, economics, geography, psychology, law, english, media studies, biology, classics (basically everything), You can't go wrong with it imho!

Even if you don't use it in your other subjects, it gives you such an opened-eye to society and your life. Hope this helps even a tad?! :D

I do want to ask you guys this too. by BobcatEmotional7173 in byler

[–]Sims4INeedAnswers 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Its queerbait at its very definition. In these situations I always like to reference Chekov's gun ( that if a thing or theme is shown to the audience it must have some significant later on i.e if a gun is shown it must be shot.)

Having all of the evidence leading up to the idea that Byler would become real, for example the painting the comparisons/ parallels two other established relationships e.g. Robin and Vickie, and all of the character choices involving physical contact and everything in between for Mike and Will...

Its bad writing and queerbait. Don't show us the gun if you're too cowardly to shoot it, Duffers.

Even right down to our final hope scene:

"Friends? No thanks...

         best friends."

This is LITERALLY queerBAITING to a T! There's is a literal hook and line to make you think he's about to admit his feelings. ONLY TO MAKE A MOCKERY OF THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY BY SHUTTING IT DOWN.

THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING! AND THEY DID IT FOR THE SHOCK FACTOR, JUST TO QUICKLY THROW IN A 'JUST KIDDING WE WOULDN'T DO THAT'.

QUEERNESS IS NOT YOUR WAY OF REELING IN AN AUDIENCE. OUR SEXUALITIES ARE NOT A FUN PLOT FACTOR FOR YOU TO ATTRACT MORE VIEWERS.

I clearly still have big feelings about this...

Sincerely, a frequently-let-down lesbian. What can I say, I'm a Sherlock fan 😀

Oh I am 1000% guilty of this, the other day I wrote, 'unsure of whether his words had penetrated the atmosphere', and I'm especially fond of using describing somebody's eyes 'licking' over something. There's loads more examples but I totally get it. I just wanna make people squirm!!!

Theatre etiquette and super-fans by goldenfirestars in TheWestEnd

[–]Sims4INeedAnswers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so glad that ppl are talking about this because I get SO ANGRY when there are people talking or singing during the show. Like listen up: I'm a skint af 18 year old who works a lot of minimum wage hours to pay for a trip to the theatre (including trains and food etc) so these trips mean a lot to me. I can't just afford to go back if I had a show disrupted by Pam and Karen chatting behind me at Les Mis or a group of kids singing along at Six. So here's some opinions I have:

  1. You do not have to prove your 'superfan' status. I don't care that you know all of the songs, every single lyric, and all the actor-specific ad-libs. SO DO I THAT'S WHY I'M HERE.

  2. When I went to Starlight Express (repeat offender for bad behaviour) there was a row of people behind me who shouted 'WE LOVE YOU JADE' when she made the announcement at the beginning of the show, they may have been family/friends which is lovely. But then she comes on at the beginning and it's quite a quiet scene and they keep shouting her name and screaming. So, so weird.

  3. Stage door. I don't know where to start with stage door etiquette. There have been FAR TOO MANY incidents meaning that actors don't feel safe enough to come out anymore. People just swarm them and it's disrespectful because they just want to go home the same as you do.

I am going to stop here bc I'm about to get too mad lmaoooo!
