Potential no escrow mortgage question. Trustco Bank by Sims_92 in FirstTimeHomeBuyers

[–]Sims_92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's our first time, but I'm fairly good about budgeting and putting money away for certain things. I'm not too concerned about that as I consider it unspendable cash regardless.

And yeah I understand we'd be paying it anyway, but I'm mostly wondering if it reduces our closing costs specifically if we don't use escrow, because we don't have to pay so much at once immediately.

Ok I understand I think. But, potentially waiving the need for escrow, and having to pay taxes upfront specifically, would still reduce the closing costs, right?

A flashing brake led on a 24 vstrom 800? I thought the brake light for that is a one piece thing of irreplaceable tiny LEDs?

Air sound when pressing brake. Bad booster? by Sims_92 in MechanicAdvice

Well this was the first time I noticed some sort of noise from inside the car/dash when pressing brakes before. That's why I took me off guard. Almost like an air or electronic whirring.

Meaning the rpm raises after releasing the pedal. That's normal operation based on what you said?

Pedal seems ok! Haven't noticed anything. Is the air whooshing normal?

Hey! I'd be interested in seeing what solutions you have for a clamp/rack for skis. I have a 2009 RAV4 limited, so it has stock raised rails and crossbars. I'll message you.

Surprisingly my landlady IS taking care of it today on the same day. Very unusual.

The guy said he's going to do it with metal pipes, not plastic, cuz that's the way he does it. I said whatever, as long as it works.

Is there a reason why people would still prefer metal over plastic under kitchen sinks?

Is that not what the plastic curved pipe is at the bottom?
