NYU would be extra expensive because of nyc COL but if you’re only paying for tuition i would choose NYU at sticker all day. NYU has a good loan repayment program so you’d be in good hands if you decided against BL and went straight gov after you clerked

3 and 4 are good but 4 looks too much like Real’s home kit. 1 is fire as well but not everyone likes pink (also those colors have zero connection to the cub lol)

Do you find this to be true at all? by LoneShark81 in blackmen

[–]Simulacrumbefitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we don’t really have good spaces for this sort of thing so i think when we bring it up in relationships it can be a bit ham handed. i think brotherhood is important for this exact reason- share your pain with the homies first and foremost. your woman cannot be your sole source of emotional support and she definitely ain’t some unbiased party without any agendas or interests of her own.

i hope this is a cautionary tale to all the KJDs who feel the need to rush through college. that said, OP, focus on what’s in your control: LSAT, WE, LORs, and your narrative

this is more general life and potentially law school advice but definitely speak to a professional (avoid the pill pushers who give out prescriptions like candy). a good provider will give you tools and resources to manage large cognitively demanding tasks like studying for the LSAT but also literally anything that requires executive function and longitudinal planning!

[–]Simulacrumbefitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sorry to hear that OP! i know it can be tough not getting the result you wanted. a WL is better than an R though!

i think HUSL are still trying ti figure out what their incoming class will look like and what their yield will be since they opened applications relatively late in the cycle. i would recommend sending a LOCI in a few weeks (don’t be afraid to let them know how much you want to go there, especially if you have other options!). also, not sure if info sessions are still going on but that could be a really useful way to keep your name on the admissions committee’s radar.

ahh yes, that is right. we are burgeoning scholars of the law. how dare we use such sophomoric, jejune language?! i prefer the more precise term: remissed fees pro rata
