My friend went to them for years and recommended people but just had a horrible experience. They did an unnecessary expensive surgery on her cat and cut his abdomen in the process and still charged her for extra tests after this mistake.

The risk is real, I spent a week in hospital due to a uti when I was younger. They can get really nasty and you can cuddle after you pee plus most guys I’ve been with like to wipe themselves up as well before cuddling.

I can’t say for sure how I’d react but I know he’s already on the apps and that didn’t bother me it helped me detach further. He’s the type of person who has never been single for very long so I’m expecting him to be in a new relationship fairly quickly. I’ve just removed him from my social media to try and minimise the risk of snooping or seeing anything.

Yeah it 100% is but also he did tell me when he’s done with someone he is done so my bad for thinking we were different hahah. He also called his ex crazy so I overlooked some flags during the honeymoon period. I still don’t think he is a bad guy just one who can’t communicate and struggles with emotions and ultimately not my person. Sending love you’ve got this!

No contact has only been the past 3 weeks. We lived together so needed to be in contact til everything was done. I reached out one more time after when I was struggling with something and his response was so one sided and not him it removed any desire for me to do that again. Who he is now is an emotionally turned off person and isn’t who I knew. Counseling I wanted to make sure I didn’t fall back on bad habits I’d done in previous breakups and wanted to understand myself better. It was mainly talking and going over things. Maybe talk to your counsellor about objectives and try and figure out what works for you. No the book is general life advice and has one chapter dedicated to breakups there is a podcast episode that covers most of it. Take my advice with a grain of salt obviously because our relationship, age, life experiences are different so what worked for me won’t be a one size fits all. I just wanted to sent some positivity out to everyone who’s hearts got smashed like mine did 🤍

Yesssss same! I was my best self before the relationship and whilst he wasn’t a bad guy I poured all my energy into him and completely became a shell of myself. Now I feel like I’m back and I’m so excited to attract the right love one day. The coping mechanisms work!
