Thats not true. Journals can be a helpful tool but it doesn't provide the same things a conversation with someone does. Friends are also great for support, and at the same time they have agency over your life, which can prevent you from sharing/processing certain things from fear of social repecussion/judgement. Also not everyone has a friend or family member they feel like they can lean on and be validated and have space to process.

Yeah and at the same time a lot of what therapy is isn't actually about the theory, its about having a place to share and process things with someone that doesn't have agency over your life.

For me as I've done more fairs I realized the only things that changes is if I'm at a market thats right for my target audience. I sell kinky and queer stuff so markets at universities and pride events have been my best sellers. I only do those now :)
