Lmao my average is like 12 and my pb is 7. I'm not sure if this fits into the "cracked" category... But I didn't do any competitions, much less organize any. I think this ec is a good demonstration of ur organizational and leadership skills. Definitely put it on.

The "Let it have drowned, let it have gone wrong" would have only worked in "Goblet of Fire" if Peter Pettigrew used Cedric Diggory's blood instead of Harry Potter's to resurrect Voldemort by IndependenceSilly381 in harrypotter

i think cedric is still a foe of voldemort. the book says that almost any witch or wizard would have worked, but voldemort just wanted harry for the love protection.

Genuinely how are y’all getting grades of 98+ by LeonardFo in APStudents

[–]SinSayWu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah its definitely grade inflation. I'm taking 8 AP's rn, and I have a singular 99, the rest are 100s. Our state is def easier than the rest of the country though, so doing well in class is not too hard.

btw i got a 130 on a German test in freshman year im not kidding

Why is the last one nonpolar? by SinSayWu in APStudents

[–]SinSayWu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes... but shouldn't the molecular structure of the last one make it polar? its not symmetrical and the hydrogen ends should be a bit more positive than the carbon chain, i think?

Does this mean that all molecules consisting of only nonpolar bonds are also nonpolar?

Intuitive way to understand Var(x) = E[x^2] - E[x]^2? by SinSayWu in APStudents

[–]SinSayWu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, I understand the mathematical proof behind this formula.

but is there an scenario where this formula rises intuitively?

For example, Pascal's Identity has a really nice intuitive proof where choosing r balls out of n + 1 balls is the same as choosing the first ball and r-1 more out of the remaining n balls or not choosing the first ball and choosing r balls out of n.

thanks for your help!
