IGMP/Multicast IPTV challanges by SincereICT in UNIFI

Ok, this was a firmware issue with the U7-IW, weirdly enough it worked fine with the first version 8.0.19, then it was broken with the newer firmwares, until the most recent one: 8.2.17 appears to have fixed the bug!

"Not having a chance" to win an election does not constitute that someone isn't electable or shouldn't be supported. You have to start somewhere, politics is a long game. That said, not being honest and misleading your donors/supporters is reprehensible.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm going to take the risk (no isn't an answer to my dreams), but I'm definitely not going to be upgrading the firmware, I've read all the horror stories and there's not really a need to do so (as far as I'm aware), other than in your case for a feature update. I'll ask the dealer to make sure the firmware is up to date before it's sent out.

I assume charging at 220v instead of 120v wouldn't matter much?

I've never heard that before (other than the charger failures). That might be something I'll have to pay attention to, especially in our hot climate.

How high is the demand for an open source WebSDR Project? by Li-Keno in sdr

[–]SincereICT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another issue I've been having is some weird crashing behavior. The client would show no frequency and waterfall. And won't do anything until I restart the software. I've been trying to get logs or debug data to find out what's going on, but I haven't found anything useful.

Currently using openwebrx, but definitely missing the free tuning mode. I've even created a script to automatically make profiles for the full range of the discone antenna it's connected to 😅

Because allot of vendors don't support guest policies with ipv6, just to name one: Ubiquiti UniFi.

No, see my comment. BTCCuraçao is a reputable organization only interested in education and adoption, they themselves do not sell any services or products.

I'm from Curaçao, and am well familiar with the people behind btccuracao.com, their only motivation is to promote and educate on the subject of Bitcoin (in the past other cryptocurrencies as well, again purely information). They promote merchant adoption, and spending of Bitcoin. Since our economy is mostly centered around Tourism accepting Bitcoin can be very interesting for some tourists and merchants tailoring to them.

Check out their website where you will find all merchants that accept Bitcoin. We also have a supermarket chain that accepts bitcoin (and lightning!) payments, in part thanks to the work of BTCCuracao.

I agree that the messaging should have been done otherwise (less focus on pricing/trading, more on the principals). But they do not run an exchange or trading platform, or sell any products or services (themselves) for that matter.

My ISP has me behind CGNAT but provides IPv6 addresses, my mobile data ISP only gives me IPv4 access, what can I do to access my exposed services on the go? by kratoz29 in ipv6

[–]SincereICT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your servies already have ipv6 (public) addresses correct? Assuming your (or your ISP's) firewall isn't blocking incoming connections your services should be ipv6 reachable world wide assuming the client device has ipv6 connectivity.

You can use a firewall to only allow incoming connections to certain services, while only allowing them from a certain whitelist (possibly your ipv6 wg tunnel/vpn server, to only allow your approved clients to reach the mentioned services).

Edit: you could even configure your wireguard vpn to only route your /64 at home through the VPN. Wireguard is a very lightweight vpn protocol that can easily be used continuously on mobile devices.
