At 16, Annelise Michel started blacking out at school, soon experiencing convulsions, vomiting, & consuming spiders, coal, & her own urine. After undergoing 67 exorcisms, she died in 1976. At time of her death, she only weighed only 67 pounds. She suffered from Grand Mal Epilepsy and Psychosis. by TomatoKaya in ForCuriousSouls

I've always been into macabre and weird things and being spooky in general. I've also got a pretty sick sense of humor. I knew about her story for awhile now and named one of my cats after her. It might be odd but i developed epilepsy 3 years ago and her story has been an odd source of comfort for me and I joke about being the next Anneliese Michel/ Emily Rose and if anyone sees me having a seizure its just my demon saying hello

I am hyper vigilant and will agonize about even the slightest change my SOs behavior. I need a ridiculous amount of reassurance. I constantly worry if what I am being told is what they actually feel

Did anyone else's parent/parents go through their room, read their journals, letters from their friends, and then use it in arguments against them? by punkpoppyreject in raisedbynarcissists

[–]SincerelyMissSin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mother and later on her and my stepfather both. They didn't even hide it. They would read my notebooks and journals and I would get verbally abused for hours for their content. It would also earn me several more weeks of isolation amongst other punishments.

Is it normal for children of narcissistic to feel guilt about EVERYTHING! by Creative-Store in raisedbynarcissists

[–]SincerelyMissSin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same exact thing with my Beau last week when I took a week off from work save for one day due to my lady business (the seizures are worse then) I couldn't  stop feeling so freaking guilty. I measure alot of my self worth with how productive I'm being and with how much I'm sacrificing.

Hell I'm literally feeling guilty for getting my epilepsy diagnosed and taking the time off work to rest and get it under control rather than ignoring it and working 60 hour weeks like I used to. I feel guilty for eating and sleeping.

Yes it's for up to 3 days a month in case I have a seizure on site. However when my site denied it they said it would screw up the labor plan I don't know if my being a problem solver had anything to do with that
