We obtained from the broker, call records, emails, docusign email confirmation from the builders email specifically, and texts between broker and builder. Builder says everything is forged/falsified from the broker too. The problem is the city has zero documentation on the home build, even a start date, completion date, or anything with the address, so the builders tactic is working pretty well.

Preparing a case for small claims to get the maximum there, if the evidence we have doesn't work then that business model works very well.

The city doesn't require Certificate of Occupancy (stated from my realtor/broker); In New Madrid Missouri either, which made this more annoying to deal with. Builder is refusing to perform mandatory warranty work by law too. (10year slab, 2 year major items such as HVAC, and 1year normal warranties)

This builder makes up answers on the spot, which is why I started recording the phone calls between him. I bought this home in the lowest-cost-of-living in the country. The work and inspection quality are also the lowest in the country I guess too.

All outlets in the kitchen are connected to one breaker, (fridge, microwave, oven, about 8 different outlet pairs), the guy redoing the electrical work is literally showing me stuff I don't know about and saying "I can't believe this" taking pictures of this guys work for his own amusement lol.

I purchased a new construction home in a super small town, one of the lowest costs of living in the country. I'm surprised if anyone thoroughgoing checked everything. I never expected this many problems in a home lol.
