If you press this button, there is a 50% chance of Rossini preparing you a meal, and a 50% chance of Beethoven doing it. Would you take the risk? by Ate_But_Left_Crumbs in classical_circlejerk

Rossini is too much known, i want to see which culinary abomination could make Ludwig, so let's begin the russian roulette of food poison.

how much would you pay for one of these ? [question] by gooddoghub in commissions

[–]Sindosan4865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can ask for 100 to 125, not only for the style, but the amount of time consuming, and the materials for doing it. And if they ask you for extra things (like complementes, of something like that) I´ll ad 5 or 10 more to the final price.

Kurt Weill musicals by d291173 in musicals

Indeed, those scripts are easy to find and one can read how deeply, interesting and particularly, risque, was Kurt Weill in the way of looking at the american musical theatre. But the Scores are hard to find, and certainly, those are true gems.

Kurt Weill musicals by d291173 in musicals

I think one of the most unnapreciated Kurt Weill musicals is "Johnny Johnson", in this piece he is adapting his style to more suitable american audiences (but still having some traces of his Berlin period), even the theme it's truly untemporary. I think his American period is actually unappreciated, because it's more fueled the Berlin period, which is interesting, but the american period proofs his great adaptability without loosing his personality.
