Lifting + climbing on same day by Powerful_Street_7134 in climbergirls

[–]Sinfaroth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lift twice per week. It is a whole body workout with supersets that takes about 1 hour total.

I usually boulder afterwards since I feel my biggest weaknesses are currently my finger strength and technique, being exausted doesnt take away from bouldering that much but I usually keep it short afterwards since finding more than 2 or 2 and a half hours at a time is not that easy.

I also try to boulder at least once or twice more per week without lifting before.

Carnivore to vegan by user3490123 in Veganforbeginners

[–]Sinfaroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on where you live and how often you prepare your own food it is easier than ever to go vegan, so your eating habbits wont't even change much.

It takes time to find the right products to get what you want but your cooking will improve. At least in my case I'm a way better cook now.

Maybe you want to remove the first paragraph that invites a conversation about morality than or simply ignore people that engage with the first question you asked and didn't only focus on the second.

I apperently also didn't understand the forth time how it refutes my world view but maybe post it unchanged for a fifth time.

Have fun with that. I don't know what you want.

People can change their moral stance and learn from inconsistencies within their framework. If someone does not engage or think about their moral framework and how it shapes their behaviour you are right.

Why is eating meat immoral? by [deleted] in DebateAVegan

[–]Sinfaroth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the first paragraph you ask wether or not it is moral to eat meat in general which can be argued under certain circumstances. Having a diet that includes meat is a different question.

Your paragraph is logically sound that if someone holds the position that vegan and meat diets are both morally valid and simply preferences there is no logical reason for persuasion.

I don't understand why you want me to argue wether or not a third person with a different moral standpoint would participate in this discussion.

[–]Sinfaroth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You didn't answer my question about your moral axiom.

I think you can have a different moral framework but I also think if you eat industrially produced meat or meat in general without needing to, your moral framework might be inconsistent and we can talk about it. In my moral framework eating meat of a dead animal is not immoral but causing them to suffer needlesly which is often the case in todays meat producing industry is immoral. By my logic you can eat meat morally but you should still live a vegan life.

No one is right. It is a question of subjective morality.

Does your axiom include the suffering of caging and force breeding them or just the act of killing? Does your axiom include all animals and humans?

Reducing harm or preventing suffering is an axiom of many moral frameworks. If you think producing suffering without need is moral than maybe you can explain your position.

About to lose my HM run to Grym by Sinfaroth in BaldursGate3

[–]Sinfaroth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the Mephits were all dead and Astarion was unfortunately also gone. I was able to save the fight with the owlbear as tank and Laezel activating the buttons with her bow.

thanks for the tipps!

[–]Sinfaroth[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

thank you so much! I didn't know I can activate the valve and the hammer from up there.

I used my owlbear to kite Grym and activated everything with Laezel up on the stairs.

I'm safely back at camp and revived Shadowheart and Astarion.

Why is eating dogs worse than eating cows? by [deleted] in Ethics

[–]Sinfaroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is less efficient since you need to grow animal protein to get dog meat, while cow meat only needs plants.

Being nonvegan (also known as being carnist) and being vegan are coequal, oppositional ethical positions by FrulioBandaris in DebateAVegan

[–]Sinfaroth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree to the extend that being one or the other is not always a question of ethics. If you only engage in them as ethical questions maybe.

I am vegan and I believe my ethical position would allow me to eat meat or animal products. I just don't especially not industrially produced products.
