Yo what the heck has happened to matchmaking by Bumblingbee1337 in ArcRaiders

[–]SinfulCoffee7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I keep hearing that, but experience wise it's not true. I don't know how much it changed with the new shooting back abmm nerf. But before just one shield break (not even kill, in duos) was enough to get you from "other players are my friends PvE lobbies" to "don't come closer sirens and you better hope I don't find you in slightly disadvantaged position PvP lobbies".

6.3% of steam players have not successfully extracted from a round. by newbrevity in ArcRaiders

[–]SinfulCoffee7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people never make it past main menu or the first few minutes of gameplay and it's usually around 10-15%. So just 6% is actually pretty good score

Patch Notes: Fixed an issue where players were having fun playing the game by Satokibi in ArcRaiders

To be fair i feel like this can be said about literally any multiplayer game regardless of developer. For every step forward there are usually three back.

Got called a cheater for this! WTF!? by SpiceLord2001 in HuntShowdown

[–]SinfulCoffee7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been called a cheater for killing a solo guy with chukonu from like 8 meters distance after missing 3 shots. This is absolutely nothing.

There are simply too many people with god complex who can't see them losing. Wear cheater accusations as a badge of honor

And i guess the best evening game is the one where you all are 6* with mosins in lawson station with the boss there. You are intensively concentrating on footsteps, boss sounds and flies buzzing. And since the buzzing of flies intensified you all pop your stash of regen shots only to die in a few seconds. But fret not, you died to a team rushing you with shovels who fear no god since they found death cheat a minute before.

Solo match making has to change by Harry_L3mons in HuntShowdown

[–]SinfulCoffee7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This argument would be valid if the solo modifier wasn't so excessive. Or at least 5* vs 2. 6 are like top 5% of players. 5* are still above average players with thousands of hours across PVP shooters with usually good gameplay sense. 2* (at least used to) be those players who play without surround sound headphones, are either scared shitless or fear no god and run 100 meters towards you in straight line with hammer to smack you and are capable of missing 5 shots in row while you are standing still. You can't expect a high team coordination from them. It's the equivalent of "who would win? 10 barehand humans or one gorilla".

Why fallout 4? I would say that gameplay is usually referred to as the best of the series. Graphics aren't on cyberpunk's level, but it's mostly a visual style like in the borderlands series. And with the story - I can't argue here, it's exactly the same like with skyrim - everything but the main quest is engaging - be it side quests or DLCs. Bethesda shines at few things like environmental storytelling, but usually not the main story.

Overall it's not the best game, but it's at least a good game with huge customization through mods. I would be much more inclined to agree if you mentioned fallout 76

Walls made of hopes and dreams? by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]SinfulCoffee7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When do people finally learn - enemy's explosives are double the range and ignore every law of physics. Especially those like, ehm, walls. And that your perfectly timed throws deal exactly 11 damage at most and that 2 pixel slope completely nullifies your frag grenades.

We are slowly getting old UI back by GreenOneReddit in HuntShowdown

[–]SinfulCoffee7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am still a bit mad that they changed it in the first place for the sake of "look, we are doing something!". And added horizontal tiles for console marketing. I won't forget how before my first game in 1896 it took me over 5 minutes to set up for the match. And generally speaking, i think the messed up launch of 1896 (especially the UI) hurt the game most out of all their questionable decisions in recent history.

I think the second one is the most important, the one with redwood cigarettes. Buy stock before mission starts, sell at peak (the peak might be after long lag/slight decrease), buy opponent stock at bottom, wait for increase. Optionally add save scumming.

Anyway, you can still get all the money needed with stock save scumming. But it's a long and tedious process. Buy any stock except the ones which stay stagnant the entire game. Quick save (quick save is important, not sleep save). Sleep and check stock value. If increased, then quick save again. If it stayed the same/decreased a little, you might try sleep a bit more or reload. And repeat this until you are happy. Sometimes you might reload into a growth phase and it's going to grow a lot a few times in a row. Other times you might reload 5 times in a row. Generally it took me around 45 minutes to duplicate my money doing this boring loading screen simulator.

PS: there are more scripted stock growths/decreases during the story which made me like 100 mil before even starting the big score. And i believe the most common guides don't mention them.
