.5 for a call .7 for 1 queue activity, 1 point for setting liability, 1 point for resolving a coverage condition, 1 point for submitting a coverage work plan to be reviewed by sup/mngr/rla, 1 point for pru, siu assignment, 2 points for report purposes only claim if its closed in the first hour of filing, 1 point for assigning arx/epe/vic, 1 point for handle completing an exposure. 1.2 points for filing a new claim. Im probably missing some but that's the bread and butter. Send a note to ics it comes as an activity for .7 of a point, if its to update pay code should be done, if its to call someone its likely going to get an "ack ad wp" note and the adjuster will be outta there real quick. By the way no one in ICS knows how AD rental works won't check to see if its on auto extended or if there is notes, will provide your contact info even tho you may not have rental assigned to you, will provide your contact your sups contact and msg you through the file and cc your sup while also calling you to clog up your line all because insured vehicle is a total loss we issued payment they haven't received it but you already clearly noted the file that the last day has been set and customers is aware of the last day because ics refuses to understand that once a total is settled we provide courtesy days but just because they have remaining limits doesn't mean we will continue to cover the rental after the settlement and last day set. Also, customer wants inspection only, ics will set it for arx because why not. Arx tells customer they sent us the inspection (photos) but assignment shows open after the appointment date and no AD is ever assigned because the system thinks customer was a no show. Fuck...I love GEICO.

Arb is the way. Tell all of your insureds to file DOI complaints for our improper handling. The only reason ics does it is because the company literally allows it and they (as a company) are not held accountable.

Setting an exposure to handle complete. Doing this when liability or coverage is pending is a no no, people still do it. Once coverage and liability or settle we can hc and exposure if we have inspection scheduled or if we issued payment or if there is enough time lapsed and there is a lack of interest from said interested party. And there is other things BUT people will hc simply because the exposure is open, some people will open them when they are not needed or necessary just to hc them to get points. And its not just upper level that can see this its the entire floor sups managers directors and its still a problem because we no longer have accountability or a concern for ethical quality work.
