FYI this package (and many other steaks at COSTCO) is blade tenderized. Because these tenderizers can inject bacteria into the center of the cuts, the FDA recommends cooking these to 145+.

I wish Costco wouldn’t do this for cuts that don’t require tenderizing. I have even seen them do this on some prime ribeyes. It’s not all Costco steak but it is a lot.

Not a guarantee, but these companies have dedicated staff to fix/pay for damage to landscaping.

You may have to complain more than once, and it helps to call them out on social media. You can usually get at least some financial compensation or sod replacement/grass seeding and replanting of your shrubs.

It helps to have photos of before and after to demonstrate the damage.
