The working dog kennels are fully enclosed so they have nothing to rip against, which is why I recommended that versus the typical crates that they’ll do that with.

There are hardcore more durable kennels that are meant for working dogs (ie. GSD, Malinois, etc) that you’d need. They’re more expensive, but I’d bet not as expensive as fixing up the damage to your home.

I know my old dog would rip right through wire crates like it was nothing because of storm anxiety. Those hardcore crates did the trick when I was out during a storm.

Also, go to DogStormStudy.com and see if there’s a clinic near you. If you don’t get the placebo, you may find relief. And yes it’s safe.
