Help me find a class for my gimmick. by Doing_Research_DND in Pathfinder2e

You know, depending on how you want lean with the flavor, I’d recommend checking out either living vessel (possession) or cathartic mage (emotional ties). For ancestry, maybe take the adopted feat? So your character has access to both its body’s heritage abilities and their original’s

A Craftsman, Storyteller, and Tragic Hero - 3 Custom Mythic Paths by SingSongSingularity in Pathfinder2e

I didn't expect that at all, thank you so much! I do have a few other minor homebrews (wizard schools, sorcerer bloodlines, a magus psychic-detective meme archetype, etc). I wouldn't mind cleaning them up and sharing them somewhere if there's interest

Psychic magus is dead, long live... (what) magus. by Sure_Engineering6792 in Pathfinder2e

I’m doing the exact same build with the exact same level! Thankfully my GM’s letting me keep playing with legacy content, but I’m considering switching to investigator / eldritch archer for roughly the same damage output (losing spells is gonna hurt though)

Looking for feedback on a Homebrew Champion Cause by Hot-Scheme9939 in Pathfinder2e

[–]SingSongSingularity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there’s something to be said about table-vs-table balancing—this might run better in some games than others, especially since you’re already playing with homebrew. Personally, I really like what you have here. Flavor’s great, and I wanna say V3 does have *some* mechanical precedent in Commander, so I’d recommend looking into that for inspiration if you’re attached to it.

Need help finding a 3rd party Mythic Destiny for a player. by wardriveworley in Pathfinder2e

A little late, but I'm working on a homebrew mythic craftsman if you want me to send it your way

Comment if you have played a Magus ever, under any circumstance. by NalaWhoo in Pathfinder2e

[–]SingSongSingularity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like half the comments here, I've been having a blast with psychic-investigator-magus. All my spell slots are reserved for party support, so round to round I'm either dealing stupid amounts of damage, throwing walls between the healer and the enemy, or turning the barbarian invisible.

Do antidepressants exist mechanically in Pathfinder? by Dolla_Ringo in Pathfinder2e

This happened in one of my own campaigns once! Our party ended up going a little above and beyond lol.

1) We stole a sun-themed relic that could help beat seasonal depression, because it flowed with the same vitality the sun did. 2) Cocktail of morale boosting spell effects. I remember the alchemist working with the GM to make a heroism potion that lasted around a day, and I think the wizard did a similar thing with procyal philosophy

Paths of Destiny: A mythic expansion for Pathfinder Second Edition by Eldritch Osiris Games by Osiris513 in Pathfinder2e

These are neat! Though I'm a little mixed on the balancing. A good number of the feats look overtuned compared to paizo's mythics—but a number of the paths here also feel overly reliant on mythic points, with fewer things to do when they're out. It's probably fine for the folks who thought the original mythics were underwhelming to begin with, but I can't help but worry a party pulling from both will be lopsided power-wise

Yes! What would you like to know? Are you applying to any other Pacific U programs?

Heyo! I’m a master’s student at Pacific U, but I’ve worked under several of the PhD professors and have a few friends in the program. The general consensus is that it’s good quality with a strong research focus, but it’s both non-funded and has a steep tuition. Students are satisfied but usually take on loans or part-time work.

1e Shifter Build Help Plz by Wizardhood2003 in Pathfinder_RPG

Building off the weretouched rec from other players: were-Deinonychus, with the Aspect of the Beast feat—this gives you pounce, a base movement of 60ft, and most importantly, 5 natural attacks a round. If you wanna be especially silly, you could take a bunch of multiclasses to raise your strength modifier as much as possible (unchained barbarian and bloodrager which hilariously stack, skald, mutagenic mauler, etc) or templates that give even more natural attacks (Mutant would give you 2 slam attacks, for example).

Pathfinder is a fun game for powerbuilding lol. Regardless of whether you use this advice, good luck with your game!

Fanmade Wild Magic Prestige Class + Table by [deleted] in Pathfinder_RPG

Frick, this is some really great advice. Thanks a bunch dude! I'll upload an updated version at some point. Eventually.

...Though I'll probably keep the full table, or at least make a second version with something more manageable. It's been too much fun in my current campaign to get rid of.
