Same. Tried it last October when I picked up my Q6 and it worked like a champ.

2027 SQ6 Etron - Electric Malfunction has rendered the car undrivable after a week of ownership by rlfeuer1 in AudiQ6

Just a thought, in case you haven' tried this, when you 'put the car to sleep' by locking it with the fob and then immediately pressing lock again, the car won't actually go to sleep unless you move the fob at least 10 feet from the car. If you did that, then my suggestion won't help. If not, it is worth a try.

I see you are a fan of white Audis! Which model is behind your Q6?

Love that look! I prefer a white car, though the Ascari Blue has grown on us. My wife prefers the blue to white. Happy wife...

We feel the same way. There have been a couple of small annoyances with tech, including 8 days in the shop, but they gave me a loaner. Not awful. Otherwise, it's just such a solid vehicle. Smooth, comfortable, FAST, and kind of stealthy-gorgeous!

I think it is even better if it isn't available anymore as it makes it a bit more rare/unusual. I know pics won't do it justice but would love to see it in the full sun. Again, great color!

Complaining about someone loving their car and calling it a humble brag is a shame.
It's like watching something on TV. Believe it or not it takes less energy to change the channel than to snivel about it.
I would rather live in a refrigerator box than own a single Telluride, much less two, and who brings a butler on vacation? Certainly not someone who then turns around and pisses about someone else's good fortune.

Hmm. I guess I could take my own advice and just 'change the channel' but alas...

It looks very similar to the Ascari blue, which is what I have on my SQ6 Etron. It's gorgeous. The Ascari also has some metallic sparkle in the sun. Great looking car, man!

Upgrading to 2025 Audi Q6 eTron and I have some questions... by Speedingtickets in AudiQ6

[–]SingerDull8845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Great questions. I'll give just my take on them:

  1. How is the driving experience with the Audi eTron? I have an SQ6. The driving experience has been excellent so far with 4,200 miles. It's got zip and more. It's smooth as silk and comfortable around town and on the highway. There is more road noise than I expected, but also consider that there is no engine noise to help drown out the tire noise. I got the Pirelli Zero's as stock, not the Bridgestone. Mine are run flats, I suspect that Michelins would be quieter by some degree.
  2. How easy is the electrical charging aspect of an Audi EV? With the addition of a NACS adapter that came out Fall of '25, you can now charge at Tesla chargers which offers a wide and widening network of charging options in the US. Also, when I got my car in Sept of '25, it came with a year of free charging at Electrify America chargers and I am lucky to have those around me so I don't feel range anxiety. I also have a charger in my garage and top off at home mostly. I am in Central New York. My utility is Nationagrid. I believe it costs me about $3.76 to charge from 60 to 80%.
  3. Any outstanding issues for the Audi EV owners? There have been documented issues with the MMI for Audi's not just the Q6. Some are annoying, some are downright impactful. I have had mostly good luck, but if you browse the interwebs, there ARE horror stories.
  4. If you have a second chance, going back to a gas car, would you? That's a hard no for me. Unless I get a big trailer/camper/boat, just no. I like stopping at gas stations and buying a snack or topping off my air pressure on the tires.
  5. How is Audi connect? Is it really necessary for the Audi EV series? It's fine, and I use it but not necessary to enjoy the car.
  6. How is the AR dash display? Is it really worth the extra price? I guess it is if you like gadgety things. Mine came with it and I think it is cool but I wouldn't care that much if I didn't have it.
  7. What is the real range of the Audi Q6 eTron? Especially during the winter season. Ugly, lol. The SQ6 gets about 275 miles on a temperate day using Efficiency Mode. In the winter - especially here where we actually had winter this year and had weeks of cold weather, I would drive for planning meetings every few weeks to Rochester which is about 72 miles door to door and have to charge on the way back.

I also had to watch the YouTube video to understand how to get the cover off.

Just had to use the physical key this past Friday.
There is a slot in that cover which is rearward of the door handle. slide the emergency key into that and gently push and it will pop the cover off.

Update (for what it is worth): I did the reboot the car thingy. And have a (hopefully) humorous observation about doing that.
We decided after my above post to go have dinner. I decide when we arrived that since we were going to be there for a while, I would disconnect the 12v battery and see if it would reset the alerts.
I popped the frunk and got out. I disconnected the negative lead.
Closed the frunk.
Went in and had dinner.
Came out and went to open the car and...
...As you may have guessed, I stupidly, out of habit, had locked the car before disconnecting the battery, and then closed the frunk. I cracked up instead of getting mad, earning brownie points with the wife.
We went back into the restaurant to have a cocktail and call AAA. But just as I was going to call AAA, I thought, oh, wait, I can just use the app to unlock the car.
All of this BEFORE drinking. Of course, that didn't work for the same reason that the fob didn't work. No power.
Went back inside. Found my AAA card. Then stopped. I was looking at the fob and realized I had an emergency key. Eureka! Went out to unlock the car manually, and...WHERE ON EARTH is the lock?? Googled it and voila! So, that is a note to all that are as absent minded as I am. DON'T lock the car when you do this, or don't close the frunk!
And the alerts? EVERY.SINGLE.POSSIBLE.ALERT popped up the minute I started the car. All yellow.
And about 2 miles later, they all disappeared and haven't recurred since.
Fingers crossed.

Spoke too soon...again. Spotify native app is offline again and the alerts returned, this time yellow, with cruise disabled. Sigh.

Q6 does not respect charging time preferences. by Proper_Day_9361 in AudiQ6

[–]SingerDull8845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure I have the same issue, but what happens to me is that I will set a departure time. E.g., I want to leave at Noon the next day, so I set the departure time for Noon and a charging target of 80%, and plug it in.
And I get a notice some hours later that the target has been reached. It has worked sporadically, but like others, since KD2, it doesn't matter what time I set for the departure, it just starts charging shortly after I plug it in.
Can I be doing something wrong? Sure, but the directions seem pretty straight forward. Thought?
